Defiance Crafting/upgrading system

I'd just prefer doing something else, other than farming for keys and trying to get lucky with a lockbox. Plus crafting things in games is one of my favorite things to do in mmos. If the game doesn't have any sort of crafting system then I usually don't like to play it.

And yes, I do realize there are some flaws in my post and how it could be annoying. It isn't even really a "crafting" system to be honest. It's just upgrading your guns and gives white weapons a purpose.

It seems like instead of being able to make the gun we want through some kind of crafting they are going to release static rolled guns. I think that stinks.

Hate this idea...I Hate crafting I can't stand crafting in mmorpg. Crafting is so boring so time consuming with no real purpose but to grind a crafting level and farm things to then grind the level to make junk gear to beable to make good gear.
Crafting is a waste of devs time to make and can ruin a game when crafting forced on player and only why to make money it unbalances things greatly.

Also with out a trade broker/Auction house this is a bad idea.

I would prefer no crafting but love to see them add a Trade broker/auction house this will solve a lot of issues with people trying to get items they want.

I don't know or under stand why people would want crafting it serves no purpose in games or mmorpg other then to waste your time being bored crafting for people that don't have jobs to feel productive in life.

That all said There far more fun things and better things dev can add that wouldn't be a waste of there time like fixing bugs adding "FUN CONTENT" like more story and new area's to explore maybe vendors to sell orange items instead of boring crafting.
Turf wars/siege clan battles.
Clan towns where player can do clan missions for clan script for clan founder to build the clan town.

Player hideout/houses marriage system...list can go on of much funner content then crafting.

Every mmorpg I have tried crafting ruins the if it a most it breaks the market and incurses bots and waste the dev time to release content or fix thing and cause huge issues dev have to delay content to make sure the crafting gets new content with the next updates or what ever and make sure new zones gets the resouces for crafting its lame.

Where ark hunter we are not crafter we sell junk for profit not turn junk into things...We are Ark Hunters....

Also major reason I love this game so much is it doesn't have crafting too many mmorpgs add crafting and I hate it so much I think a lot of this games player base have like minded people like me that would more then likely quite playing then bother with another crafting grinder.

Isn't going around grinding for random guns what we do now? How is going around grinding for things to make a specific gun of your chosing any different? Well, other than knowing getting what you actually want. I guess your suggestion of vendors just selling what you want would get me what I want, but I don't see how thats very arkhuntery or engaging. The other things you suggested are fun and I'm sure lots would love to see, but being what this game/company is I think is very unrealistic. Then again, the whole notion of anything like this is unrealistic givin recent happenings. Honestly, basic improvments I now see being unrealistic.

Either way it seems it doesn't matter. We are going to get (some) static rolled guns and ones we have to buy for real money(really?!) out of the bit store. I had real hope for this game, but they've chosen a path I cannot follow them down. It's time for me to look elsewhere. It's really too bad they didn't want to make this a truly great game. Well I guess that's just the impression they give me. Cash grab. No soul. Whatever. Moving on.
