cant leave xbox out lol. i just had lag an hr before the servers went down today. its still the same sh*t, different shovel with trion. yet some how they have found a way to piss me off even more.... didnt think that was possible.

Most xbox users don't have big lag or server disconnect issues. You want bad then play on a Ps3, and see how bad Sony screwed that system up. Yes I am aware an outraged Ps3 player WILL come to Sony's defense and blame it ALL on Trion, even though ps3 has a history of very poor performance with online games and dlcs! And yes I HAVE played several games on a friend's Ps3 and have experienced the issues with Ps3.

so computers being computers yet you blame the user? i, as much as everyone, am waiting for this dlc. have been waiting for it. all my friends are waiting for it. i'm still patching the game and at this rate the patches will be done by the time the servers are back up which will probably be by 10, 11-pm my time. be patient and find something else to do that's not complain, really what do you gain by it?

I keep wondering whether they'll ever get a DLC patch right.

Last time it installed, errored, and decided it needed to reinstall and patch all over again.
This time... oh look, exactly the same.

Two thirty minute downloads of the same data is annoying, even on fibre. Makes me nostalgic for the really bad updates on City of Heroes, which did not involve a total reinstall after the servers being down through the entire prime time period.

I'm so glad I still enjoy randomly gunning things down.

Funny how everyone blames Sony. I have 60 games and Defiance is the only game I ever have a problem with. Maybe that is because Trion is a Company that makes PC games and decided to Try Doing more then their abilities allowed them to do.

i was getting disconnects a lot back in sept. the only thing i see now is lag. and i have had it several times at arkfalls or sieges in the past few days i was on. i have no doubt ps3 is worse. one reason why ill never switch back.

those computers are designed and controlled by those who use them at those companies. they have techs on hand for every part that goes into them. so yes the users. their not using home based desktops to run a fairly large game. and last i checked, i got every right to voice my opinion. just as you did taking the time to read my post and commenting on it. i havent been on this forum or game for months. and sorry if the last ounce of me had hope that trion would get their sh*t together in the past 9 months, to learn how to release and run things smoothly. and the complaints can/maybe/hopefully read by someone at the company, and will be used in a constructive manor. thats what i/we may gain by it.

What if the patch totally wiped out all of our inventories (player database) and they need 4 hours to restore from a backup? Or better yet, the back up failed and we all now have empty inventories - maybe this will start a new "weapon based gold rush?"
