Comparing weapons

So now i can no longer compare weapons i just got to other weapons in the inventory, i have to equip the weapon, compare it, unequip that weapon, equip another weapon, compare it, unequip it, equip another ... etc etc... good work on making things more complicated and time consuming, whose bright idea was that, the compare system was not perfect but it was at least simple to use, one step forward 5 steps back.

There is a little button in the lower right of the inventory window when you are comparing weapons to switch between each gun you currently have equipped so you can compare new weapons to both of your current guns.

yes the "cycle comparison"button, i saw it, doesn't change anything to what i said, you still have to equip every weapon you want to compare before you can compare it.
Before you could compare any weapon in your inventory to any other weapon in your inventory, now you have to equip every weapon before being able to compare it.

Yea i got to agree this is dumb, it worked before now its just busted, please revert this change for players sakes...

I'm finding this comparing weapons change to be really frustrating. Why would they change something to make it more difficult? That and adding a step to activating the ego power. Why?

Very much agree; the old compare system made it much easier to sort through which gear was best. So much more clicking involved now to equip before comparing.

The new favouriting system is a bit better for mass salvage and selling, but not ideal. I thought they would implement check boxes so you could just select what you wanted to action en mass.

Large inventories are getting harder to manage :/

Besides the inability to compare two non-equipped weapons (so VERY annoying), I have also had an issue with the cycle of equipped weapons and some bizarre random weapon comparison choosing that's been happening.

This is my experience:

equipped weapon: AR
attempting to compare it to AR just received; however, I've had two annoying results:

1. 'Entering' compare mode with the equipped weapon, the system cycles through your equipped weapons as you try to scroll down to the new and non-favorited AR, not necessarily being on the original equipped weapon of choice that you entered the mode with; or,
2. Trying to compare via 'entering' from the non-equipped weapon means you have to cycle through the equipped weapons and, when doing that, the system changes the original non-equipped weapon to something it thinks you might want to compare it to making it so you have to scroll to the weapon of choice again... see #1.

Wow annoying. Anyone else noticing this?

I love how it compares a Vendor Vehicle to my Gun? ...Really.

I have no idea what made them think players would like this.
