Pre Order and No Beta invite?

Same here as well, I pre-ordered online version yesterday and have yet to receive a beta key or download link and the beta starts tomorrow. I do not have very fast connection speed, I don't want to spend the entire beta period downloading it =( or not being able to play at all because no promised beta key...

It's not an instant thing - you'll need to wait for an updated beta invite e-mail from us (if you Preordered via Trion) and you'll need to apply a code to your account from other retailers.

Rest assured if you preorder we will get you in to the beta one way or another.

OK, that's cool. I figured it might be this way. I just hoped it would be like other betas I've played in where you don't lose half the beta event time to downloading the game. People like me who don't have the fortune of a T line running to their house lol have to plan ahead. If the game is 10+ GB (which I'm sure it is) it will take me over 20 hours to download it on my 1.5mb dsl (max download 155KB/s) =(

ya im not sure about whats going on at gamestop for the purchases over their site. I pre-ordered it and have only recieved confirmation that I purchased the box. Guess im calling them

*edit* so just got off the phone with gamestop. theyre unaware of any beta code that is suppose to be mailed to us. In fact, its not advertised on their site at all for purchasing online. The only code listed is the code for the in-game items which they will not deliver until AFTER the game is released. If the beta code is tied to that, we're SOL

Not sure if this is a miscommunication between gamestop and trion, but has anyone who purchased the game over their website recieved a beta code from them? My purchase was made 2 days ago, and I havnt received one yet.

i got my beta code from gamestop after preordering through their site on the 6th.i preodered on the 30th of january.so most likely you will recieve the email just make sure to check your spam folder.

I preordered from gamestop at my local store - they gave me the code from the receipt and I put it in on Sunday and got the beta invite on Monday evening. Some things take a little time.

I've been hearing from all over that people have been preordering all over and not getting any beta codes and retailers or shopping sites saying they know nothing about the beta or that you will receive the beta on release day which makes no sense to me. I've held off on preordering the game because of this since as much as everyone else, I would love to get into the beta, and your the first I've heard of ever receiving a beta invite.

Ive had the same problem with pre ordering from my local gamestop, pre ordered and didnt recieve any code on receipt and when i called they had no idea about getting an invite with pre order. I guess Ill have to wait and hopefully find an invite in my email when Beta comes out.

One way or another? Does that apply to people who pre-ordered via retailer and have contacted that retailer asking for the code or whats up with it and have yet to hear back? I'm having an issue with amazon.ca, they said they would email me today with either the code or info about it but have not.. I'll wait till Monday before speaking with them again, but that leaves them 5days to get me the code. Otherwise I'll be out of the beta and hopefully get the code thereafter so I can at least get the bonus pre-order items. However, if the pre-order retail people dont get codes, how do we prove to you guys we have a the game ordered??
