I noticed no such thing. I went from arkfall to arkfall non-stop from 8:00PM till midnight.

Maybe so, but you're not paying attention. All the windows you see spawn when arkfalls pop enmasse, they are in places where arkfalls used to be.

There are no new arkfall sockets that I've seen. In fact a few other players here in the forums seem to confirm this. But there are now windows that now take the places of the old arkfall sockets which means, logically, there are less arkfalls.

Here is an interesting observation thus far: Windows don't seem to ever despawn until they're used -- meaning if windows are also spawning in arkfall sockets as another user observed, then this means it is possible to have an entire map full of windows that will never despawn and make way for arkfalls until someone pays the pied piper.

Your logic is flawed and your conclusion is incorrect. I'll let you ponder upon why, but last night there was no shortage of normal Arkfalls including major Arkfalls.
