    Is it time?

    Hi Guys and Dolls

Just got the email to say that new content was available which started me thinking that I haven't been playing Defiance in months and months. So is it time I got stuck into it again? Last time I was playing was a few months after launch and got fed up with the number of problems with the game.

So people has the game improved ?

I play every day, so it's 'Always' time.

    Here's a quick tip:
    They changed the inventory UI.
They added the ability to 'favorite' items to keep them from being traded/crushed by mistake.
They added a 'Mass Breakdown' button at the bottom of the screen.
They did NOT favorite all the items by default.

If you busyfinger that button without proper consideration you WILL delete everything in your inventory.

Favorite everything, first, then work backwards.

Lots of other comments you can read on the forums, but I wanted you to keep this one in mind.

    Enjoy your journey.
    These are just my opinions.
    I have lots of opinions.
Some of them, on occasion, people have agreed with.
I do not trust those people.

    BTW Farscape ROCKS.
    1.05 shotgun mag boost? REALLY?
PC/NA&EU, too many toons to list.

There are definitely some improvements. The UI has a fresh new look, and dynamic events are now more plentiful.
Of course, Defiance is still full of bugs and shortcomings, but not so much as to seriously impede your fun when playing.

The loot system has been given an overhaul, so if you come back you can enjoy the hunt for all new gear. Your old gear will still kill stuff, but you have lots of upgrades to look forward to. The crafting system has also seen some improvements, making it much easier to upgrade your guns and optimize your damage output.
And of course the new DLC has lots of people arkbreaking, making it easy to explore the new content. It's a good time to come back and join in.

Depending on when you stopped playing:

    1. Your inventory may be filled with "pre .105 patch" weapons. While some still hold a bit of value, most are ark salvage now.

    2. If you had any prized grenades, they have all been standardized. The loot drop system is now 40% nades that you can't pick up to sell or salvage. {Unless you want to go through a VERY tedious task of doing a lot of swapping, yadda yadda.}

    3. Depending on your platform, you may not even be able to fully enjoy the entire DLC as it isn't yet available for non season pass holders on PS3.

    4. If you are a PS3 player. Have fun with the more than ordinary discos, lag, and annoyances that have plagued us since launch. Did I say more than ordinary? I did. Since launch of DLC 2, discos are up close to 60%.

On the good side. What most others have mentioned.

Come n back. Have fun. It's still a kick *** game if you can overlook the negs. I still play every night, so must have a steel-tight will system to look past all the bad!
