Do I still get weapon skill levels on my character stats page if the weapons itself is maxed on XP?
for example:
my AR is like 100/100
my assault rifle skill level is say 4/10
Do I still get xp towards that 4/10?

If your weapon has max XP, you can't get anymore WP with that weapon. Change your weapon to another of the same kind.

No, you don't.. which is really something that we should've been informed about in tutorial.. I actually made a bug report about this before I thought to check the help function ingame..
Apperntly when a weapon itself lvls up, you can no longer gain xp toward unlocking new tiers using that weapon.
What do the new tiers even provide?

Yeah, also the weapons seem hit max to fast -.- finally found a new lmg 30 mins ago.. took me less then 20 mins to hit cap again lol..
There is a way later on to REMOVE that weapon XP. I know I've seen someone mention it before on the Beta/Alpha forums, but for the life of me I can't remember how they did it.
In this way, you can take a fully modded weapon that you really like (since we all have that one "awesome gun!" for our play style).. mod it the way you want, then level it up. When it levels, you remove the XP (and the small bonus it gives when you max) and start re-leveling that individual gun, which also restarts leveling the skill for the weapon. I just can't remember how to do this, so if anyone know's, let us all know.
