PS3 game play

I picked up my copy from gamestop but I'm at work.. I haven't opened it yet. I want to know if any of the issues that everyone said 'would be magically fixed at launch' are still previlent.

- the Mili Vanilli lip syncing
- arkfall sound/lag issues
-not being albe to see people around you
-voice chat

have the graphics improved? I understand this is day one but per the 'defenders of Trion' all would be rectified because that was only 'beta'

lol from what I have seen so far, there are alot of unhappy peeps due to the psn an yah I pre ordered mine 2/26 an I am eastern us.. an dont have mine - think only ppl with the pc install have had gametime of any worthiness

Why would anyone be unhappy due to the PSN? Anyone who has had a playstation for more than two weeks knows they update the store in the afternoon, and the Defiance preorder specifically stated that the game would NOT be available until the afternoon.

If you wanted to play it this morning, you don't buy on PSN.

As a ps3 owner since launch I am now on my 4th ps3 I have never bothered to check when the store updates and I was fairly pissed when I awake this morning to find out my preorder won't be accessible until likely late tonight. The claim that "anyone" would know this is probably a gross overstatement, in a simple random sample of PS3 owners I doubt 1 in 100 could tell you when the PS3 store updates in a week. If you honestly think otherwise you're delusional.

Exactly. People unhappy with PSn obviously have -ZERO- clue how the whole thing works. It does make for comical reading though

I pre ordered from Best Buy, an they didnt have it in this morning... an have been reading all the whines an wimpers...was just reposting on what I have seen in the forums. But yes I have only had my ps3 for less then 8months an been on line with it for maybe 5months. so yes that is good info, but yes I am the 1% of the 1 in 100 that didnt have a clue of how to get online, due to not knowing that you could play a console game that way. I was a PC only gamer until I herniated my L3/L4/L5, so now I have to learn about PS3, its games an style of play. so any help or hints would be appreciated - Happy Hunting an Peace ~mJ~

Even if you don't know what time the store updates, you're still responsible to read the description for the preorder before you clicked continue. It said in big bold letters when you clicked "download" that the download would not be available until the afternoon of April 2nd.

If you bought on the web store instead of your PS3 I wouldn't know if it warned you or not, but threads on these very forums have been discussing the fact that it's not available until the afternoon for at least a week.

Bottom line is the information was there, you chose not to pay attention to it.
