I do however understand why this is said though. Telling players to extract/self revive only, cuts down on the possibility of a DPS drop but you'd much rather be just slightly less efficient than not efficient at all...
In certain cituation it might be faster but its definetly less DPS. Becuase of the person who stops shooting DPS has to be taken into acount and the recharge rate for spikes, ego, running to get ammo and the risk of going down while reviving.

Yes, and two targets on top of each other are almost always targeted by the warmaster's missiles. Then you have two people laying on the ground and possibly a third when someone tries to revive those two.

I extract immediately! Waiting for randoms to revive will get you nowhere.

It's not just 3 seconds and anyone that claims otherwise is only looking at the matter from the inside a of bubble. 3 seconds may be the literal time to do the act of reviving a player, but the time involved in actually reviving a player , i.e. moving to the player, reviving, and then reaquiring a viable target on the Warmaster will be longer, often much longer. Depending on what kind of loadout and combat strategy a player is using, their skill in doing so, and what the Warmaster is doing, that can take as much 10 times the actual time it takes to do the revive itself. This is on top of the time lost for the other player who is being revived and there is always additional time between when a player goes down and another player reaches them to revive them.

On the PC extraction is instantaneous and, as others have noted, the time lost for the downed player in extraction is mitigated by having automatic EGO power, spike and stim regeneration. This isn't debatable. It's totally irrelevant whether the Warmaster goes down for groups that revive. It is beyond contestation that waiting to be revived and reviving players reduces the aggregate DPS of the group barring the extracting player doing something bizzare upon extraction like deciding to have a picnic on the floor above in lieu of immediately reengaging the Warmaster.

its annoying to see 10 people crawling around waiting to be revived rather than just extracting and running back in. complete waste of time to even join the major arkfall if they plan to do that when they go down.

I understand what you are saying and yes I agree, but something cant be done right unless people start communicating on how and when to start attacking the electromagnetic shield that is around the WarMaster and what weapons to use. I first hand have been told on how to and I am glad someone took the time to tell me how to do it correctly, let alone aloud me to join them with doing the event. My thing is, is that I don't like how be told to play a game and not be a respective player and say " hey look, don't to this so and so until this so and so is ready."

lets just brake it all down nice and neat. exstracting gets you

    1: recharged ego

    2: recharged spikes :: i.e damage. protection, ammo , ::

    3: recharged stems.

4: it also takes 3 secs to exstract and 4-5 secs to get back down the hole nad into battle.

5: any spikes you left behind after you died stay.

6: any new spikes you place stay if you die agine

7: theres an ammo box you can get ammo from

8: you can start dropping bullets into the arm in faster time and your not incanvinancing anyone and every one around you.

now what you get from reviving someone:

    1: nothing.

2: your picking up someone whos ego is used

3: you have no spikes ready

4: you have no stems read

5: you had to wait X amount of secs for some one to pick your lazy *** off the ground

6: you crawled around and looked like a pows ***

7: you took away from valuable DPS

8: you are a troll for waiting for a revive .

and like all other trolls out there

i and ALL other players WILL LEAVE YOU TO ROT ,.

now what would you rather do ? hmmm. ill go with exstracting

    END OF DISCUSSION
