Agreed 100% if everyone always worked together
I wouldn't be as Miffed about it. in fact I wouldn't

but sadly that's not the case as pointed out in your first post.

I was at a major about 2 hours ago with, wait for it... a whopping 5 people

I don't own either of the DLCs and I agree with the OP. But there is a slight problem currently if they were to revert to Pay2Play-DLC. The arkbreak spawn spots are taking away from spawn spots of regular arkfalls. They would have to have to bring the number of regular spawns up to compensate if they were to lock non-DLC players out. And judging by the stability issues they seem to have, I'm not sure they have the talent to pull that off.

Not sure where you are playing but there is always a ton of ArkFalls and ArkBreaks on my map. I constantly see a Major of each and at least 4 minors of each (with maybe a minute or two delay once one ends to when another pops up).

so do when trying to get into the interior of the arkfall, and oddly enough it has happened on a few arkfalls i have helped call down.
i'm guessing its because its full of people, and im betting it full of people that did not even buy the dlc.

the main reason i feel this way is because i feel cheated on the dlc, because i paid for something that even people that didn't pay for can enjoy. short of the stupid missions leading up to being able to use the batteries that is.
They could easily charge $10.00 for the outfit that comes with the DLC. How is that worthless? How is that any worse than you being punished right now for having bought the DLC for having to spend $10,000 to call a minor arkbreak (or 40K to call a major)? How can you sit here and think that having an "ability" to spend MORE script for the same end-result is some how of value?

I'm sure there are DLC owners out there that don't buy batteries.....they sit and wait for others to place them. There should be something that shows when you look at someone that tells you they have batteries....like a circle around the nano symbol....or make it so a person can only place one battery down at a site.

I don't mind placing a battery, but I shouldn't have to place more than one if there is another Arkhunter with one available....especially if they are going to participate.
That is a good idea as well, but they'll have to make batteries cheaper and give out more free batteries to DLC owners.

at least you have been involved in a kill i always seem to get into major arkfalls with idiot that want to use a bmg or like crawling around 3/4 of the match and complain people never revived them.

This is simply not "right" and should be carefully evaluated by Trion.

Here is how I see it though: I see it as if I'm being punished for purchasing the DLC. Yes punished. You see, I'm the one obligated to buying a battery and wasting my script, while those who did not purchase the DLC run around freely without any concern or worry about buying that battery. In essence I am being punished. No player should ever feel this way.

I would suggest a very thoughtful re-evaluation of this DLC and would like to suggest that if it must remain open, then all players should have the ability to BUY the batteries, however only DLC owners should get free batteries once per day and once per week.

Plus ten for the idea about daily/weekly free batteries. One point though...even DLC holders can match your description above about non-DLC holders.

I did. I should be flogged.

then burned and my ashes spread to the four corners lol.

in my own defence, I had the bits leftover
from the purple mod boxes and they were sitting there
doing nothing. I ended up buying the drifter outfit.
I do like the outfit (recolor of harmony preacher)
but yeah it was NOT worth ten bucks.
