Among other things it makes him look ignorant. Players were reaching Wave 10 before other players started using the SB as a crutch or to otherwise max out their score and waves reached have nothing to do with the Tier reward. Score is the only thing that dictates what Tier level rewards you receive.

I am sure there will be new threads after the nerf moaning about Sin/triple crit VoT Bolters and other similiar sniper rifles ruining 'your' siege since they too are capable of 2-4 shot kills on Volge. What then? More nerfs? WOOT!

On topic...I get to 40k and then usually stop. Every time I have done this, siege ends at around wave 9-10 and people still struggle to hit the required point teir for max rewards even still...

Your ignorance is showing again. The VOT Bolter is a bolt action sniper rifle not a semi-automatic sniper rifle. Putting aside that a Surge Bolter doesn't need any particular bonus stats to do what it does, the ability to deliver high damage per shot doesn't equate to high DPS. Besides having a much slower raw firing rate than the Surge Bolter, assuming you're not having a contest on which rifle can deliver most damage over time to the sky, it has an even slower practical fire rate because bolt action sniper rifles require target reacquisition after each shot. In the hands of a player unskilled with sniper rifles reacquiring the soft spot is going make for an even slower practical firing rate.

This of course also ignores the fact that in the time it takes to fire off a fully charged shot from the Surge Bolter which OHKs an Elite Bomber you wouldn't be able to land 2 crit hits from the VOT Bolter. The fact that you think the VOT Bolter is overpowered when it's efficiency against Volge, if a player is fortunate enough to get multiple crit bonuses on it, in the hands of a skilled player doesn't equate to the DPS an unskilled player can put out with a Surge Bolter is only further support for just how overpowered the weapon is.

I'm not sure if you're trolling or simply have a profound inability to understand weapon mechanics in the game beyond the most shallow and meaningless analysis but you made a similar one in your other post alluding to the Wolfhound. The last time I checked you couldn't snipe with one.
