So I was pretty late to preorder the game (Easter) due to money issues, but I had finally managed to get enough money. I was super excited, and planning on getting the Ultimate Edition of the game. Go in to preorder and the guy tells me that I can't preorder that, but they do have 2 extras. He tells me I can preorder the standard one, then switch to the Ultimate one when I come in. Sounded reasonable to me, so I went with it, preordered for $5 and left. Go in today to pick up to find out that he lied, they didn't have any of the Ultimate edition in stock at all. So I had to downgrade to the collectors. Fine. I was disappointed, but otherwise I wasn't upset (I was late to it after all). Go through all that, got the season pass, went home. When I get home I started installing the game, and I looked at my receipt to find my preorder code and my season pass code, just to find that I didn't get a preorder code at all.
Wow.
The only reason I didn't want to wait a couple days to get the Ultimate edition is because I didn't want to miss out on the preoder stuff, and here I am with a version of the game that I didn't want, and I didn't get a preorder code.
I was furious.
So I called them up, they explained to me that because they had to cancel the standard version order that they had to cancel the preorder and I lost out on that code.
Bait and switched, lied to twice. Gamestop.
So I'll see you guys rolling around in your fancy cars, knowing damn well that I should have one too.
Funny thing is, this isn't even the first time Gamestop has screwed me over either. When I preordered GW2 they gave me a code already in use. Then when I asked them about it, they gave me another code that was already in use. Had NCsoft not been so kind, I would've lost out on my preorder bonuses there too. But that was a little before the launch of the game so everything worked out.

Skipping to the end instead of reading? Don't preorder from Gamestop unless the one near you isn't filled with scamming, lying dirt bags.
Thanks for reading my rant, had to post it somewhere just to vent some of the anger out. Promise I'm not like this normally.
I do have a question though.
If I can prove I had preordered the game (Receipt from the preorder) can I open a ticket with Trion to get the pre-order bonuses? Or am I pretty much screwed?
