I'm glad they didn't do anything. For a couple of reasons.

    1. On PS3, could you imagine the added lag and discos to an already deplorable situation. Great! I can go from 3-5 discos an hour to only being logged in for a few moments at a time.

    2. It further cements the mass opinion of who Trions real baby is {Rift}. They "claimed" to have things in the works for Halloween and Christmas, but, *shockingly* they couldn't figure out how to make it work!

    Hater.

The only reason it's like that is because you said it.
Not because thats what they did first.
    These are just my opinions.
    I have lots of opinions.
Some of them, on occasion, people have agreed with.
I do not trust those people.

    No 'hater's', please.
    I'm tired of being accused.
That would take Trion to do some actual work.

I think you'll find we do a lot of charity in the course of the average day.

I agree but any content would be new content, which i'd be happy with and they could try using their imagination a bit to make the missions different from the norm. Sadly it is a bit late for them to do anything like that tho.

As for the boosts being hard work or using time. I can't imagine it would take that long to do what they have done on more than a few weekends and the release month. Its probably little more than a global server setting in order to increase whatever gains for a time period.
Considering how long its taking them to fix issues that have been around since day one, it seems somewhat unlikely that a few minutes maybe a couple of hours at most is going to be much of an impact.

It's been obvious for some time, Rift is "their" (Trion) game and now Trove, it's like Defiance was just a job they did for Syfy, they did the minimum that was required to launch it and now the minimum required for the DLC's, but they have no real attachment to it that's why Rift gets a real team and Defiance gets a skeleton crew.

Really makes me wonder how many people still work on Defiance, apart from Trick and that one person that is working on chat and UI updates, can't be that many more, they sacked the whole team when the game was barely out the door and obviously needed quite a few more months of intensive work.

Trick, Greg, Dahanese, Morgana, and maybe one or two more people (for the arty stuff..)

Right, i probably should have said "how many 'devs' are still working on defiance"
Greg, Dahanese and Morgana being community/PR people not devs AND they are shared with Rift
so that leaves Trick, that lonely Chat/UI person lol and "maybe one or two more people (for the arty stuff..)".
lol, yea that seems about right
