Manually setting the monitor to run at 60HZ does not help. It still crashes in exactly the same manner.

I confirm this. Just putting 60 Hz didn't work - only the registry way.

    Monitor: ACER GD235HZ 120hz
    Connection: DVI-D
    Graphics Card: GTX 660 Ti

I was able to bypass the issue by using a registry editor to remove all instances of any frequency over 60Hz, but it also requires a reboot after you do this and then another reboot if I want to play another game. I'd prefer if I didn't have to do this everytime.

    Monitor Make and Model: ASUS|LED 24" 1MS VG248QE 144Hz

    Cable Connection Method: (Display Port)

    Graphics Card Make / Model: GALAXY|68NPH6DT6ENZ GTX680 2G R (Nvidia)

Description of the issue: 1.Crashes any time I try to enter the settings options from any menu or by hitting f6.

2.When using Windows 8 (only when clicking settings from the char select screen) it would take me out of game to the launcher settings; Where you select your region etc. This does not happen in the various compatibility modes.

Note: I've tried every compatibility mode for Windows. I'm using Windows 8.

Monitor or TV/ Make and Model: ASUS VG236 120Hz 3D LCD MONITOR
    Cable Connection Method: (HDMI/DVI/VGA Support)
Graphics Card Make / Model: 2 GEFORCE 460 GTX in SLI Configuration
Description of the issue: step-by-step scenario as performed in alpha/beta. if it helps any, please look at alpha patch v9.0. this is when the issue first started. prior to this patch, video was fine. 1. in-game menu before you create character if one clicks on settings the game crashes. 2. the game crashes during initial start-up if you hit esc prior to tutorial. after the tutorial is completed, hitting esc does not cause the game to crash. 3. click on settings in-game the game crashes with no errors.

work around for my set-up is to switch from DVI to HDMI by switching cables and selecting the appropriate mode in my monitor settings. defaults to 60Hz. i'm then able to access the settings menu to change my keybinds.

Negative. I am a certified computer technician (CompTIA A+ and Microsoft Certified Professional). What ever is wrong is within the coding; be it on Trion's side or even possibly AMD/NVIDIA side seeing the game is so new that there aren't adapted profiles yet because I have used the NVCP, tried the DVI to HDMI cable swap which is a complete pain to do and completely unnecessary, and even a few 3rd party tools to force it and nothing will work. However I have to rule out the AMD or NVIDIA side of things seeing the game works flawlessly except when accessing the settings for the game which is something Trion coded.
