    Cable Connection Method: DVI-Dual Link
Graphics Card Make / Model: 2x Nvidia GTX 690 Quad-SLI
Description of the issue: Crash to desktop if I try to open the In-Game Settings Menu.
Additional Informations: I play with Nvidia Surround so my Resolution is 5760x1080.

Here you can also see that the HUD is stretched over all three Screens and not centered on the middle screen like in other games which support Nvidia Surround or AMD Eyefinity but that's an other story.

Monitor or TV/ Make and Model: ASUS Vg248QE (144hz)
    Cable Connection Method: DVI
Graphics Card Make / Model: SLI EVGA GTX 580s SC
Description of the issue: CTD whenever I try to access the settings either from the menu, or by pressing F6.

I'm hoping this is resolved very soon, as it sucks up just about all of my desire to continue playing after I crash from a single button press.

Monitor or TV/ Make and Model: ASUS VG248QE Black 24" 144Hz 1ms (GTG)
Cable Connection Method: DVI dual link
    Graphics Card Make / Model: SAPPHIRE 100352-2L Radeon HD 7950 3GB 384-bit GDDR5 PCI Express 3.0 x16
Description of the issue: CTD as soon as I click Settings from the launcher, hit ESC, F6 or click on Settings in the menu in-game. No error message, just straight to desktop and application closed. Manually setting the refresh rate to 60Hz does not alleviate the problem. Changes to the Registry to only allow 60Hz or using a HDMI cable are the only things that seem to allow me to enter the setting screen.

Monitor or TV/ Make and Model: Asus VG236 120Hz
    Cable Connection Method: DVI
Graphics Card Make / Model: Gigabyte GTX580
Description of the issue: Trying to open the settings menu at any stage crashes to desktop instantly.

So the fact that this is being looked into now rather than for all three beta weekends that is was reported on is?

Love devs who leave **** that is REPORTED until AFTER the game is released and they have our money to even bother asking for info. Awesome first impression.

If I set my 60hz monitor to be the primary, i can launch the game, I can access the settings menu, everything works properly. If I set Defiance into windowed mode, I can drag the window onto the screen of my 120hz monitor and it continues to function properly. Of course, if I set it to full screen mode (which is what I want to play the game as), it will display it on the 60hz monitor this way.
I can confirm that this works!

For anyone that has a setup like this, One 120hz monitor & One 60hz monitor, make your 60hz monitor the primary. What I did was I simply disabled my 120hz monitor. Then, I loaded up the game, changed my key-bindings and switched it to Inverted Mouse (which was an absolute must for me). I also went into the Video settings and made sure they were all the way up (except for the Resolution and Monitor Refresh Rate, as they were set for my 60hz Monitor).

After I completed this. I exited the game, turned my 120hz back on, and launched the game (fullscreen). I am ASSUMING it's running at 60hz, but I dare not hit the Settings button to check. All I know is now that I have my Inverted Mouse setting setup, I can actually PLAY the game!!!

Sorry to anyone that does not have an extra 60hz monitor, and who is dealing with this unacceptable bug that was never fixed before launch! Anyways... time to go play some Defiance... finally!

A post from the 24th of March. Nothing was done then, you're total failures so far.

i would also like my scrip and xp bonuses reset to start when this is fixed because having played it for half an hour it looks like a console port from 7 years ago at default settings.
