Kill warmaster achievement glitched?

the second time i got the kill shot i got avenger kill

who isnt beating him ? the crew i run with has beat him over 50 times.

Tagged along on a CORE mission last night.
Out of the multiple dozens of times I've been down the rabbit-hole, that was the first time I got to see what beating him looked like.

And I thought DareDevil was the title for the ppl who had to put up with the extra large serving of shtako sammich the first several days of the release on April 1st.
(Who knew at the time that April Fools day would be Groundhog Day, and we're all Bill Murray?)

the only thing pissing me off about it is getting green weapons for beating him ---- you should not get better weapons for losing.

That is what I'm starting to notice too. On PS3 NA, in the evening, you can pretty much bet on beating him at least the majority of the time, if not nearly every time.

For those trying to get this achievement/trophy/pursuit with the killshot before they fixed it, I used a similar method (adapted for new mechanics) as done for the Hellion and Progenitor. I carried a fast-firing SMG, Damage Spikes, and Overcharge, so that when the Warmaster was at just a tiny sliver of health left, I could slap down the Damage Spike, turn on Overcharge, and fire into his arm with the SMG (I think it was a VOT Pulser, but not a Tachmag). In my case, I think I mostly got lucky on the Warmaster, since it had just EMP'ed everyone, and I was close enough to just blind fire into his arm under those last second conditions.

Still, it betters the odds to use a fast-firing or high DPS weapon to pull it off.

Fluked and got the money shot last night, even beat a dude who always scores #1 in WM on top of that with a personal record of 3.1 mill dmg done. I got three greens for my effort! SO WORTH IT! /not

p.s. only group that is consistently killing WM on PC NA seems to be Core....at 4 in the morning. During my prime time (west coast NA), NO group is killing it; they can't even get arm armor off 3/4 of the time.

the first time i played it, we beat him. then ive played him a couple hundred times and beat him again twice. no achievement. it makes my hands hurt to spam ground pounder and wolfhound for hours. it really isnt that fun. and to top it off no achievement.
im back on gta v. at least its snowing there.

Agreed completely i do it now to master weapons and hope for something to change.

360 NA players apparently suck ***. I've been in several instances of him where the bottom 5-10 people have under 200k damage, some with under 100k! What the **** seriously, learn to play or G. T. F. O. of Warmaster raids noobs. I only see him get downed about one in 5 or 6 attempts, at least on 360. So much for it being the shooter console...

Doesn't help that it disconnects every time I try to enter a major arfkall and when I come back half the time it's gone. Piece of shtako game.
