Why no player housing?

I remember way back in star wars galaxies that they had a descent housing/city thing going w different house styles and such, and that was close to 9 yrs ago. So why do new MMOs say its too hard to implement in a game? seriously?
Same reason all girl gender models have short/cropped hair.....omg really, you cant make long freaking hair by now? but, wow, look how cool the water effects are! I never meet anyone who gave 2 Sh*ts about a water affect. 90% of the ppl ive meet in 3rd person games like that style so that they may "see" their toon in all its glory why have cool wepons and body customization if you cant see it?
but i digress....how come i cant have a crib yo?! lol.

You're joking right? The game misses or underwhelms on common RPG features and you're asking for a deeper RPG feature that even most RPGs don't have?

This is a console FPS, akin to COD. It has the same kind of progression as Call of Duty, don't expect mmo progression because you won't get it.

Well first off. This isn't a First person shooter. Second, how do you know what kind of progression there is?
