Please just tell us what to do in order to stop the disconnects. Don't BS. Don't "company man" us. Just tell us what we can do to stop being disconnected. It's crazy that you can expect to be disconnected from a game nearly every time you attempt to perform one of the game's missions. No one is trying to get fancy and ends up getting DC'd. Just tell us how to fix this please. It's insane. Playing this game has become more difficult than trying to download Pamela Anderson/Tommy Lee vids from mIRC circa 1998.

I have read in a Thread that contacting Sony Support to help to delete corrupted temp. Datas form PS3 can fix those probe ( I never tried that), the Prob is, u have to reinstall the whole game … the writer is the opinion that all the lags and bugs are fixed then … for a while until corrupted temp. datas are back ß??????

Went through ALL of that, and was promptly 'timed out' 10 (yes ten) minutes after logging back on.
A brilliant waste of over an hour.

The issues have to either be with the PS3 servers, or the connection between the Playstation Network and the servers.
I've tried re-installing the game, and it made no difference. My router's NAT is set to open, but I still get DC'd. Hard freezes are less frequent after the last patch, but they still happen.

On PC, I have no connection issues. I've tried to manufacture a DC by starting a bunch of torrents with a max upload/download rates. I've blocked the ports that support says are needed to be able to connect. I even obscured my IP through a proxy, and blocked connections to the Trion servers.
The PC client ran like a champ, in fact; it was oddly reminiscent of how the game preforms on PSN. Lots of pop-in, invisible enemies and players, glitched out arkfalls, magically being transported out of an arkbreak into an empty field, but no DC.

Call Sony and ask them but when I called Sony I think this how I did it but they had me delete game data and turn off my ps3. hold down button for 3 beeps then let go ps3 should be off I think . Then hold down for 2 beeps then after the 2 beep beep there will be 2 beeps following that that are a fast BEEP BEEP will occur then let go. Now turn back on PS3 and reset you ps3 time zone and reinstall Defiance again=re patch it. I'm not saying it will fix it but since I done that it has helped lots on my end.

Also just in case I paid the 50 dollars or something like that for a 3 year system protection plan for my system.
