Given the heavy dose of problems that are going on in this game right now, I can't say that I'm overly surprised to hear this.
Could be the time of day that you're on and it just dead. I find the world looks dead but go to major arkfalls and ton of people up on them depending on the time of day.Originally Posted by Zicarios

May also be the shards that you get stuck on.
A lot of ppl are doing the Arkbreaks and not much else. I've been on the last 3 nights and seen lots of activity.
Since ps3 users were given the option of which server to play on either north america or europe there does appear to be a few more players on the europe server mostly getting stroppy and using very colorful language when they let the warmaster escape in the zone chat

This is why I picked it up for the PC for $2.49. I never hardly ever saw anyone on with my PS3 Copy ($9.99) so I didn't feel like it was worth buying the expansions on the console. The mistake they made with the Sony version was not making it cross platform with the PC. The truth is eventually they'll cut support for the PS3 and Xbox 360 version while the PC version will more than likely remain for a couple of years to cut development costs. What sucks is that I have to start my character over from scratch but at least I was only rank 825.
I had this happen to me last night it was crazy. Just me and 1 other person on a major Arkfall and then on the boss fight someone rolled up to help us so 3 people on a major WTF... Then I go travel around looking at mods and the world was all but DEAD.
I log out of the game and log back in and there were so many people around it was so much fun. IDK WTF was up with putting me in a all but DEAD WORLD but now I guess it happens.
It has to do with shard distribution. When a shard fills you are placed in another, and if the player count is barely above the max player count for one shard then you'll be in a shard solo. I knew this time was coming, soon this won't be a problem as there will only be just enough players to fill one shard.
