Around the time of the first big patch, Sharks in Winter Solstice, everyone was randomly teleported to an open field.

It didn't matter what you were doing before, suddenly you were surrounded by hundreds of players in a farm field.

I remember my free Steam weekend at the end of which I immediately decided to buy the game (I hadn't expected that at all, I just had planned to burn a couple of hours on a free game on a lazy sunday).

I remember when I first tried to mod and salvage my weapons with the old clunky interface. Probably took me 5 minutes to do a couple, then I realized I had so many others to go through! It's still not perfect but greatly improved.

I remember the first time I met Grant, Cass, Von Bach, Varus, Cooper, etc. and found out how great all these characters are. The voice acting is especially good in this game too.

I remembered my third or fourth Major Arkfall and being disappointed there wasn't more variety in enemies, settings, objectives... and subsequently deserting the game to try new stuff.

Then I remember coming back. Oh Defiance.. I just can't quit ya!

Well your "explosives" guy is doing a "Kill waves" there, so he deserves a pardon! I didn't get the last one though?

LOL, this comment reminds me of a scene from this movie that my wife and I watched before...

I remember the fireworks in the night sky.

I remember just standing there and watching the lanterns I lit slowly rise up into the sky and disappear.

I remember the first night time Scrapper finals when nobody was sure what to do, where to shoot, what to shoot it with, while the scrapper towers were glitched and the bottom heat-sink was too low to hit and everyone was running out of ammo.

I remember the people I meet who were triple my E-# (at least, some were in the thousands... lol) who stopped to take the time to tell me stuff while I was wasting time leveling up weapons.

I remember the names of the people who gave me my first good INF-3 and INF-27, when they saw me grinding on mobs at Head First Crater, My first blue flare gun, after talking to me on the ramp at TNTW for what seemed like hours, My first rebounder rocket so I could help with DM roadblocks at bug/chug while they were organizing snipers.

I remember later on, giving newbs who were using junk and figuring stuff out (or asked a question) a good INF, or one of my spare flareguns and a little advice how to use it. I remember inspecting weapons for newbs, and adding/modding weapon slots for them while talking and seeing who didn't have the huge scrip fees it required.

I remember the people who I had run into several times as a group who grouped me and took me on my first few coops before they invited me into my first clan.

I remember all the people on the forums who had been in the betas, or the ones who had been playing as long as me (not very, at the time) who shared info when so many of us had so few people around who knew how to play. Actually, it's a lot like that now, but back then there was less to read, and everything was even MR chaotic than it is now. Hard to believe, I know, but true.

I remember WHEN we couldn't cross the bridge, and WHY.

I remember how I met a lot of the people who became friends in the game, while playing until server reset in the early dawn (again).

I remember the people who I don't see anymore in game. All the names on the A-Fall scoreboards are all different.
    These are just my opinions.
    I have lots of opinions.
Some of them, on occasion, people have agreed with.
I do not trust those people.

People used to complain about explosives spam at Arkfalls. The last one was about the sellers who actually wanted you to stop and trade while the fighting was still going on. They tend to wait till it's finished these days.

I remember i was running a NFL Betting thread for pre season games in the XBOX NA Trading section...Millions of scrip was won and lost there. I was going to continue it through the regular season but the game died on week 5 of pre season. I am bringing it back for play offs, you can find it in the Xbox trading thread starting today. I know that was only about 16 weeks ago but thats what i miss the most.

BTW Play station players and PC players are more than welcome to join as well, just as long as you find someone from your system to play against you. If you place a bet just make sure to mention your console that you play on.
