I realize this post will probably bring a lot of hatred my way, but I just have to get this out there. It seems like the forums are filled with negative comments about how this game has let them down, or how technical issues make the game unplayable. I personally have had little issue with the game on PC. I find it to be pretty entertaining. That being said, if I had issues with the game I wouldn't waste time complaining here, I would move on and find a new game that doesn't drive me insane with anger.

This analogy might not make sense to most of the people that are obsessively complaining, but I'll try anyways. Imagine you are in a bad relationship. You know it, and he/she knows it. It's best to just cut your losses and move on. When you hang around your ex's apartment and try to bad mouth them to every person walking by, it kinda makes you look a little crazy. And more than a little pathetic. I know you feel jaded. I get it. But guess what? That's life. Instead of dedicating so much time and energy to something you obviously hate, go find something new to love. Leave Defiance to the people that enjoy it.

This isn't directed to the people offering constructive criticism. I welcome any feedback that attempts to improve the game or the over all experience. I am just getting tired of the hatred and negativity. It's a game. It's supposed to be fun. If you aren't having fun, then go and try to find it elsewhere.

Since you burned up post #3 on this thread starter that you haven't been here for the months of discussion/suggestions/pleading that devolved into realization that TRION has little interest in the people who play the game.

Stick around, or don't.
But coming in at the end means you missed the whole movie.
So your depth of analysis is weak at best.

Most of us don't want to be "haters", but some problems don't get resolve or, dare I said, seem to be ignored.

I have yet to be sent to the time out corner today. It is very nice to be able to login easily.
But it is early yet... we'll see what happens in this episode of Trolling Trion To Fix The Game.

No I agree with you. You don't have to quit. But there are people who's only effort to change things is bash the game and the development team. It just doesn't seem productive to me.

I'm going to buy a mink mitten, so I can soothingly pat the devs foreheads and reassure them that any effort they make is going to be judged solely on intent, completely independent of how jekk'd the game ends up.

I think people should just wait until mid january for details to arrive then determine what they want to do.

Obviously i'm not over joyed how this game is run but i do enjoy the game and i've met some good people in game and on this forum, which helps me enjoy the game more and more, the bugs are annoying, the weapons are dazzling and the game needs fixes and GUI updates yesterday, but they will come when they come...

Attacking the Devs 24/7 will not bring them any faster, you've all said they have a small crew now, so how fast can these few people really work on such a large game, not very..

I agree the people running Trion have lost their direction on this game but blaming the poor shmucks that are left coding this thing is wrong in my opinion...

It should only take as fast as logging into a VPN. Which does not require more than 1 person.

I don't get what you mean? Why would they need a VPN to code the game?

The code is on servers is it not? I know they don't run so well, but they are servers none the less.

Trion does not host Defiance, I think they were or are hosting Trove.
