Those are a waste of time anyway. If we wanted to fight rifts, we would have gone and played rifts.

They were probably thinking we've gotten to the point where everyone is willing and able to voice chat with each other. Unfortunately they didn't realize that there's always going to be a need for a solid keyboard chat system in a game like this, if for no other reason than to support those players who are hearing-impaired.

I did wonder if thios plus the xbox and PS players were things Trion factored into this, when thinking the chat system throguh. If so it was ill thought out. People often on PC have to pay for headsets and chat servewrsw. Consoles tend to have a basic headset thrown in and no chat program to dl or use. Just all there. So surely Trion were aware of this and did not botch chat due to it?

If they did then they are making a statement about who their target audience is as I said in another thread that touched on this subject earlier today.

I totally agree with this. For me the text chat system is the biggest let down. Certainly not a game-breaker just quite annoying.
