theres no mention of american aliens just aliens. This to me can only mean that Canada is currently ruled by aliens. Or at least will be in a future before the era of defiance. Tie in the ninja part just for fun. It still doesn't make any sense but I just hope this breathes new life into PVP a lot of potential here lets see what they do with it
Votan's...collectivity speaking as there are 7 distinct races of them are "alien's" of an extraterrestrial nature I.E. not "native" inhabitants of "Terra or earth"

The O.P. here makes no distinction to the "groups nationality" nor there "collective congruity" it is simply incorrectly assumed

one group kept their courage.( a note here they are simply "defined"as a group/collective")

Guided by the teachings of the Code of Bushido( Utterly plausible due to the group's founders' ancestry/possible upbringing! assumed due to their name!)

Remember "Noland" was a child when the "Votan's" first showed up in saint Louis/earth! Where he states in the show as where he grew up!! The "Show" is His/Irissa's* "story arc" now the "outpost" is known as "defiance" for those of you whom even bother to watch the show)

the soldiers of the 7th Legion(their moniker)
marched across Canada gathering survivors as they went.
(It's does not state implicitly from where said group originated simply that they went/marched/traversed across the area formerly and geographically known as Canada)

From one outpost to another they marched until finally they found a city which did not fall: Manhattan.( the irony here is that they simply went in search of out posts/hold out looking for survivors it is not saying that "Manhattan is in Canada" )

There, they made their stand against the darkness, and Commander Yoshida Hiro ((the founder/leader of their group!!))
called an end to their long journey.

Now they have come to Paradise.( which is where we are in the "bay area" in the game, yes indubitably this is certainly kind of confusing and nonsensical!! "Trion" aptly refuses to add additional map space for reasons known only to them! one can only intelligently point out they are now making a "Minecraft" clone "Trove" as well as giving the "axe/pink slip to half their company not but mere months ago! Now not wishing to place all their proverbial eggs in one basket,Yet while also fighting to keep their "Flagship title "Rift" from its dwindling player base and i'm not even going to deign to comment on "End of Nations"!)

What dread news could this herald?( personally that they will release this potential DLC with just as many bugs glitches and screw ups as they have the last two in a rushed effort to make a quick buck /dollar instead of fixing existing problems....

I will once again like to point out the nature in having a quality education! I would also like to thank those educators to whom I actually paid attention to so that I can read and understand that which I do read!

Bushido in west coast sounds nice. BTW, I have to mention that Yoshida Hiro is a popular local comedian in Osaka, Japan.

1.) They could announce that DLC-4 was going to be about Arkhunters dietary habits, and the blackmarket hunt for Dinty Moore Stew/Beanie-Weenies, and I think it would be no less out of place for the people hoping to continue to play the game voicing/typing opposition to the direction The Devs will be forcing them to take.

If skipping a DLC would allow one to skip the content in the game as not adding a mod to singleplayer off-line games allows us to do, I wouldn't give a rat's butt about the content. My sole input to The Devs at this fork is either:

1.) Quietly accept whatever crazy shtako they announce they 'INTEND' to do BEFORE they actually spend the entire budget of manpower/money doing some wildly unpalatable thing thing to the game.

    Or,

2.) Voice opposition to a direction that makes no sense from a players (mine, and the people I discuss the game with) perspective in a contextual or 'Gee-Whiz, aint this neat!!' reference frame.

[ETA: You might make note of opposition to grenade changes, and how 'It's too late to go back now'. Notice that it would have been nice to have let them politely know that they could just skip that trouble and fewer people would have quit the game as a result. Similar could be said for the 'Chat' mechanic, and how many people don't play anymore because The Devs did something that more people didn't like than found it a correct path to take.]

And then I can just stop playing the game the day the fiasco is released. I can add my name to the list of much of the player base who, since the beginning got run off by The Devs and/or also finds it pointless to play, and joining the reasonably sizable group of people who bought the game, love the game, and realize that even though it's the only one of it's kind we've found so far - We just can't be bothered to put up with something so outlandish.

    To the second cite:
I've never seen a game mechanic or animation of my 'toon changing it's socks, either.
It doesn't require me to assume that I as a 'toon don't wear socks, or wear dirty socks.

    Just sayin'....

    These are just my opinions.
    I have lots of opinions.
Some of them, on occasion, people have agreed with.
I do not trust those people.

oh, do shut up! Please, your posts are riddled with spelling and grammar errors. Put away the dictionary and thesaurus. I'd rather dedicate my life to watching everyone stop using an advanced vocabulary, start talking using net speak, and witness first-hand the atrophy of the English language, then see one person (you) destroy it with a few forum posts.

It typically should require fuel depo's/stations/cashe's you have to pay salvage or script to fuel up and get "x "amount of boost/kilometers per tank per vehicle .......for that xtra xtra amount of craved "REALISM"!
your "sentiments"? Really?? So, you get completely emotional about this game and forum, huh? Smart *** little girl

Yet you're obviously wasting it here and clearly care enough to respond. Hm. You need to stop trying so hard especially when you keep making mistakes, it's starting to get embarrassing. If you have a problem with what people are saying, place them on ignore. Do not sit here belittling them as if you're better.

We all know about your "quality" education. You have mentioned it numerous times in the past. We also know what they say about martial artists, Mil-Pers and intellectuals waving their d***s around constantly.

But it was nice of you to express your view of the community. Not that it wasn't obvious already.

I guess this from a Trion employee did it:

Granted, it could still be a jest. Yet, an official mention of the word "samurai" and the lack of further information has let the discussion snowball to the state it is currently in.

    On topic:

Bushido as an ideology might work in the right conditions. However, as someone already pointed out, there are so many factors and plot inconsistencies undermining it, that the idea feels so contrived. Add to that, the earlier clumsy attempts at storytelling, and you'll soon understand why so many people here got a bad feeling about this.

Ask yourself this: Will the 7th legion consist of a force of highly trained, conditioned operatives, of a band of anacronistic warriors in samurai stylized powerarmour and waving charge katanas about in stiff, ungainly animations? If you've watched the livestreams and noted Trick's expressed enthusiasm for silly concepts, you'd probably also fear the latter.

    On bacon:

I dare say Canada has some competition from Denmark when talking quality bacon.

Personally I prefer buying a whole piece of smoked bacon from my butcher, rind and all. Peel off the rind and outermost layer of fat, slice off 2-3mm rashers and fry them on a dry pan. You won't get bacon better than that.

Wow thanks for all the bacon info! I am now truly educated in the ways of bacon.....

So what you guys call "Canadian bacon" we call pemeal bacon....that seems to be the only difference.

Normal bacon is better....pemeal is like ham (ham is delicious) but it aint as good as pure, straight up bacon!
