This issue is like the earlier one about not shooting the skitterings at an arkfall! People didn't pay attention to that or figure it out even with the ego audio giving a broad hint.

We need those old messages that would cover the whole screen, where the game would suggest you join a co-op or PvP match right in the middle of you fighting Nim... change those messages to "Don't shoot the locks" and have them appear on the screens of anyone who shoots locks in an empty instance.

"I bought the game, you can't tell me how to play."

    Swell.

    Hey, Trion:
How's about letting us put together a group to go in with, and then keep the damned group grouped.
It's kind of a tenet of 'coop', dontcha think?

PUGs aint the way to go all the time.
    These are just my opinions.
    I have lots of opinions.
Some of them, on occasion, people have agreed with.
I do not trust those people.

    NA/pc.
    2013:
Mid E-5XXX main, but I played 26+ 'toons from E400 to E5500. (Dormant)

Guys who haven't bought the dlc shouldn't be able to let the WM out (break the locks) they should also have to pay 10k scrip to enter.

Ideally this would be in the next patch.

As much as I agree with this it will only slightly solve the problem. I've noticed that the majority of "greifers" are DLC owners. So, this method only slightly helps.

    I have an idea, but not sure of plausibility;

Make the locks act like the doors to get into the instance. What I mean is. Instead of shooting the locks they would need to be "unlocked" like the door is. 5 ppl stand on the blue circle and enact their pads to unlock it.

The lock will not unlock unless it's activated by 5 different ppl. Each lock would require 5 different ppl.

In the case that there aren't enough ppl to enact the unlock mechanism, after a designated time period, say 5 minutes, the locks will automatically pop.

Don't know how feasible it is, but it would take care of the early lock popping problem.

I love this idea, but rather than 4 separate circles, I was thinking one huge circle just a bit bigger than the monkey cage, that would require 20 people in it at once to activate. Saves the devs from having to figure a way for the circles to know if you have already unlocked one and prevents possible issues of the circles not letting people unlock one because it thinks they have already unlocked one of the others.

I don't really agree with forcing a 20 player requirement to break the locks, it would be a bummer to the small groups that don't need a room of 20 to do WM.

Edit: And also scenarios where the chances of getting 20 members are really slim due to it just being that time of day.

That is where the timer that he originally mentioned comes in. If you are not able to get 20 people within a set amount of time, it would open up regardless of the number of people. Also, I personally would like a lower number such as 12 but with the current grouping issues, you would be hard pressed to get your team into the same instance.

    Good!

Stay gone a long time. I've watched you bust the locks off the warmaster's cage with about half a dozen people downstairs. With everyone yelling at you to stop. At least 3 times.

So...yeah, go do something else. We won't miss you playing.
