In other threads, people have said do not install from the dashboard (where you press X for more game detail and press Install), instead start the game and follow the install prompt you are confronted with there. If you do it the first way mentioned, the patches will loop endlessly. Haven't gotten home to try it yet, just what some other people have said.

This really is bitterly disappointing - Yes I know MMO launches are never smooth but this really is something else.
I've thrown in the towel for now - I don't want an angry call from my internet provider telling me they're cutting off my service.
Such a shame, because I was so psyched about this game and this whole experience has left a bitter taste behind.

Okay, so doesn't matter if you install from dashboard first or not then, good to know since I usually do that right off the bat. I guess the endless looping is just a random "lucky" thing for some people and something I get to look forward to later (hopefully not)

This is happening for me as well, on PC.
