Actually this following quote right here proves he DID want sympathetic babying.

What he got was the opposite, and for a reason. The splitshots WERE overpowered. They NEEDED nerfed in most people's opinions. THe Devs said the Splitshots were Overpowered do to a punctuation mistake in the code. So the Splitshots NEEDED fixed.

Now that they got fixed like we've been told for over a month that they WOULD be, he is WHINING and hoping for sympathy because he feels this SHOULD be a PAY to WIN game. It is not and hopefully will NEVER be pay to win, and those guns NEEDED fixed.

It does NOT make the gun less effective, no matter what the OP thinks. The same complaints were made about other guns in the past, so they got nerfed as well. Those guns, such as the Saw are still favorites of plenty of players because they are STILL very effective.
