Orange drop rate ???

So I have wasted more than 1.5 mil in salvage plus all the extra salvage from scrapping the crap i got on t3 lock boxes in the past 24 hours and got zero oranges and only a couple of purples none of which were any good.

yet before the patch I would have had at least 4 oranges and a few decent purples from all that.

Also had zero oranges from warmaster since the patch.

So what the hell have you done to the drop rate ?

Been playing for about 6 months now and already got a character at 5k ego and one at 3k ego and the only thing keeping me playing was the persuit of decent orange weapons and if that aint happening anymore whats the point ?

I was on a dry spell until an hour ago I used my salvage (300k) and pulled 4 oranges. 2 from the same box
Also am having no joy from beating the war master either. Several beastly epics tho.

in the past week i have pulled four different orange grenades and an orange saw and an orange quick repeater -- all from tier 2 boxes. dont waste your keys on tier 4's

I have never pulled an orange from a t2 and t4`s are a joke since the jackpot lock boxes went they drop nothing but blues for me

All my oranges have come from tier 4 boxes. Pulled a frc bolt action with dmg and crit yesterday

Random things are random.

I average 1 orange for every 5-6 hours of playtime. They're usually crap, though lately I've gotten what are essentially BiS TACC and Big Boomer (TACC puts most surge bolters to shame at volge sieges).

agreed --- i got a purple assassin syphon vbi ar with a dmg roll and a crit roll from a war monkey loss the other day.

better than the stupid thunderers and lightning rifles he was dropping before.

i have pulled 3 oj saws from tier 2's, about ten oj nades, 5 or 6 cyclones, and an orange vbi assault rifle --- i dont buy anything other than tier 2's now.

when the jackpot tier 4 boxes were out -- i bought 7 --- 4 of them were jackpots -- i got a purple slugger, and everything else i got was blue.

Epics seem to favor some players much more than others. Some people are epic orange-epic hunters.....I think I fit somewhere between the "common-white" and "uncommon-green" epic hunter.
Some people they "randomly" drop for, others they "randomly" do not drop...etc...etc...etc...
