Seriously dude? I disputed you in another thread on this very issue, which you chose to ignore and not respond to. And, in another thread you stated that I may want to "do more research before making a statement," or some such nonsense.
I believe, it is you sir, that should research your assertions.
No, it's Super Greg!
Super Greg will surely save us from this coding nightmare!
And as I have stated, although experience tells me that no one here gets sarcasm, is that that was a JOKE post.
Tell you what if DLC3 comes out and they really are Canadian alien samurais (has to be all three) then I will make a public apology thread to you all. I don't expect the same back as 99% of the users here are little whiny children.
You people are funny. Read this posts again if you need. And again. Repeat until you realize.
From your post, you seem to think that the senior lore writer for the game has some kind of control over said lore. He doesn't. SyFy comes down and says, "This is lore," and it suddenly is lore. A senior lore writer for a game NEVER takes precedent over the TV show writers. And *everything* that goes into the game has to be passed by SyFy before it goes in. So evidently, the 7th Legion *is* official lore and canon or else it wouldn't be coming into the game at all.
People make it sound like the original devs were laid off in some willy nilly, hurting for cash manner. They weren't. Literally every game studio on the planet lays off a large portion of the development staff once a game goes live. They aren't needed anymore since the ramp up for the game's creation is over. They're dead weight and a money sink. The logical conclusion is to then lay them off and only keep the staff required to keep the game going. It isn't malicious and it isn't because the studio is hurting for money. It is simply a contract and that contract has ended.
