An interesting discussion

I just had a very interesting discussion with a friend of mine.

He basically asked, why do I defend them now, when all I was doing was attacking them?

My answer is simple. I could give two ****s about Trion. I don't like them, I don't hate them. They simply make my #1 preferred game to play.

I care about Defiance, I don't care about Trion.
I care about seeing this game reach its full potential.
I care about seeing the bugs, and problems fixed.
I will do whatever the situation calls for.
If I have to attack Trion, so be it. I would much rather just pat them on the back and say great job.

I challenge many of you to look at your own actions, and decide, is this what is best for the game in the end? Am I actually helping, or am I causing further damage by creating this message?

@ Trion - I have not had my car despawn in days, and I cannot get it to do so. It has to be something with the way the loadouts are setup... gut feeling.

Edit: I just had my medi duni despawn twice in the same travel period! I can't get my charger to do it yet. A clan mate also mentioned that he was driving along with two other people, and all 3 of them despawned at the same time.

This is the only game I play. I share the PlayStation with a 12yr old so I don't get to play that often. I love the game, but it still has a lot of the same issues it had at launch. They are working on it, but there is nothing wrong with you holding them accountable for it taken so long.

I try my best to be on the fence..i love the game, i hate how its run (i do not hate the Devs or Mods, they try their best with what they've got)..

I try to be positive about the game, i do not agree with the attacking Trion or positive players happy with the game is constructive, it's not, even if it upsets the older community here.

Can't argue with you.

I've made a few posts in the last week or so about how they don't get recognized for doing stuff right, and it's true. They don't get the atta'boys they should.

otoh, I do not in any way feel that, considering the enthusiasm they show for getting stuff fixed spontaneously and in a reasonable time frame without a certain amount of player-based allusion to torches and pitchforks, we'd be where we are now, stability-wise.

Run that one by our PS/XboX brothers and sisters, and see who salutes.

I've said this many a time, I don't think Trion want the game to fail or they would of pulled the plug by now but remember, you will never get a good response from anyone by attacking them.

Next time you go to your local take away have an argument with them just because you can, I bet you wouldn't eat from there again?

If Defiance was a restaurant they would have been shut down because of all the bugs. So the game was made badly, this obviously will generate complaints. Praising someone for changing a lightbulb while the house is on fire and made by a drunk isn't productive. You're just kissing someones *** who lied to you and took money out of your pocket because you prefer the lie to facing reality.
