You know some of the best MMOs out were garbage for the first couple years. WoW come to mind. It was extremely buggy for almost 2 years, now everyone uses it as their example of a well-polished perfect game. Obviously those people never played WoW during it's first 2 years.

I really hope you aren't implying that Defiance will be the example of a well-polished perfect game in a year? This isn't going to happen.

Just stating that obviously it takes time for an MMO to develop. Give it some. It may never be WoW since wow is a sub, and quite frankly boring after a week. Defiance is buy to play, so it does not make as much as WoW so it will never be that big. It is however more fun, in my opinion.

The 'more fun' part, and the 'so it will never be as big' part are two reasons I'd be willing to sub, to front them some capitol to make the game better.

Have we lowered the bar for Trion to the point where just doing their job deserves an "attaboy", have they screwed up so much that when they actually get one right we applaud their success?

If this is the case then it alone is a statement of how pathetic things have become.
