Also, several minutes later there were a few 'New Pair of Genes' Monarch emergencies.
I've noticed recently that on occasion the monarch is completely invisible, but does clear and obvious damage to the players 'toon.
This includes getting hit by invisible Monarch spitballs that knock me on my azz.
And he can be doing damage to my 'toon while I'm shooting in the direction of the damage but I'm inflicting no damage.
A BMG won't target the phantom Monarch in those cases, either.

AND there have been increases in the Monarch attacks where he's visible, but his spitballs aren't. So if I don't do a dodge/roll I get creamed by 'nothing' and take damage.

The point is, something is going on with the code that makes stuff inviz when it used to be visible.

I'm still running the same AMD ATI HD4850, and ATI hasn't released new vid drivers for this card since they moved on to better cards. I'm confidant that it's not my end of the game that's changed.

Personally I like this one. When an emergency and an Arkfall overlaps it's usually fun for me.

My favorite emergency/arkfall overlap was when the Hellbug Major event would start near the Bug and Chug, and the Hulker emergency spawned just outside the red zone, but close enough that he would aggro and come in to break a foot off in someone.

Watching a Monarch and the Hulker fight was sort of funny. Watching unsuspecting players get WTFPWND was even funnier.

I will admit that more than once, I intentionally kited him in and then stealthed to watch the carnage.
