Hairstyle/character changes post creation.

During the creation of my first character I did not notice the additional options in the top left and as such missed out on quite a bit of character customization assuming it was something you could change later through other means. Is there any plastic surgery/hair salon feature in defiance? Or am I going to have to make an entirely different character just to change hairstyle? Any help would be appreciated.

As of right now there's no way to change character appearance once you have made it. Maybe they'll implement sth later on?

Well that sucks, I was really attached to my character and this is really the only thing I don't like about him :'(

Oh no!!!! I had this same question....I figured there would be some way to change appearance stuff even if it meant going to the market or driving all over the place to get to a salon/barbershop.

SUGGESTION:
PLEASE add salon/barbershop to your game or market - you sell & give as rewards outfits, why not sell /give us a reward to alter our hair color/style or appearance as well! Recreating a character simply to change hair color, skin tone or hairstyle is not fun.

I agree.

But my fear is they are going to start nickel and diming us left and right for stuff.

Yes, I know they have to run servers. But if start to get like EA does with having us buy everything that will honestly just turn off the game I really like Defiance a lot. But charging real money to change character features is dumb. Scrip or something like that I'm cool paying for. Just do not pull the real money greed blanket over us. Really.

It's weird when MMO's release which don't let you change how you look even in small ways once you're in game.

I believe this game needs much more in terms of looks customization. Not to the level of APB. But seriously, it needs work.

And I think the developers knows that too and will provide it in one the the DLCs down the road.

One thing I think is pretty bad for character design is certain character types like the veteran are looking down in the character creation menu. So it's actually hard for you to see what they are going to look like normally because they are havin a grand ol time staring at their feet.
