also "it feels just like an (MMO)FPS." How the hell is that? Do you know what fps means? FIRST PERSON SHOOTER. This is third person. You seem a little slow. There is so much more content than "finishing the story". If you played WoW and finished the story thats not even 30% of the gameplay. There is so much more, same as every mmo... you seem a little clueless. You should maybe look for a single player game?
    +1 on that .

I really don't get all this negativity... I remember when the N64 games were only 3-4 hours (or the old Gameboy games). Times have changed and alot of people got spoiled. When I get 20-30 hours out of a 50euro game (I payed less tho...), it cost me around 2.50 each hour, now I find that cheap fun. Drinking beers, buying movies cost alot more and gives alot less fun! And it's not P2P.

Keep it positive! The servers won't stop without you

You can also beat Skyrim in well under 3 hours, but that doesn't mean you played the game.

I remember playing Morrowind for days at a time not even doing one quest. I was just exploring and killing things for loot. The story in Morrowind could be finished in 10-20 minutes if you wanted to rush through it, but that didn't keep it from being game of the year.

I've got quite a few hours into the game because I spend my time between challenges, side missions and PvP as well as the main story-line. I am enjoying the scenery and getting -into- the game as opposed to trying to finish it.

    Its more fun that way!

It's not fast when you have a life, kids, work, other responsibilities, play other games, take breaks, and go outside now and then. If you do a marathon and finish it in half a day, that's not the games problem, games can't be all things to all people.

The other thing is, multiplayer. 10 - 12 hours is nice if I compare it to the 6 hours that BF3 offered up in it's single player mode.

Yeahh... content is going to be continuously released for this game people. If you follow just the main quests in this game, you aren't grasping the concept of an MMO. Or an open world. I easily spent all three days running around, doing Ark Falls, doing all the side missions where you're suppose to help soldiers under attack from mutants or hellbugs and I only made it to the beginning of Medora. You're suppose to explore the world have experience what it has to offer, not just run past everything because you see there's another main mission to do.

You can also repeat the sniper hill mission the same way.
