Dlc1 > dlc3?

I didnt think anything could be worse than the Casthian DLC, but this one looks like it might be up for the job.

-A grey chargeblade (essentially what the Katana is)
-Recycled event
-recycled weapons
-new synergies/story mission

This had better be a good 2-5 hour mission, with decent story, or DLC1 may win. May refrain from buying a Defiance DLC for the first time. Im not sure if i can support that content and patches as any type of Paid DLC.

DLC 3 was supposed to be the story rich one, but we'll see.

come on , DLC 1 = single player Horde mode, DLC 2 = you buy the car , you buy the gas, everybody else gets a free ride,
DLC 3 = Bacon wielding canadian samurais. I'm holding out hope that DLC 4 is a deep story revolving around an angry displaced tribe of amazonian pygmy's.

On of these dlc's they are going to make it look like another boring thing but then sneak VB back into the game and using the arktech.

i agree about dlc 2. for the people that bought dlc 2 it was like Trion was kicking you in the junk for buying it since everyone can do everything in dlc 2 without paying for it. that is except for doing the 45min worth of missions and paying for the ark spikes to call down an arkfall for everyone that didn't pay a dime for it to enjoy. oh and i guess they can not use the weapons that are part of dlc 2 but big deal they can still farm them and sell them.
i said it in another thread that if people didn't pay for dlc2 they could help on the outside of the askfall but could not go in it unless they owned the dlc. it seems like even after buying dlc 2 it still cost you but in the form of in game currency and if you didn't buy it you got a free ride, which is not they way Trion will be getting people to buy the dlc's if they don't have to to still be able to do everything in it.
at least in dlc 1 they could not go into the arena unless they owned the dlc for it, but then again that was not a big loss anyways since the arenas are garbage anyways.

It seems to me that if you brought down the arkfall, you should get some sort of bonus in the final ranking for the ark loot. You know: first come, first served. Perhaps, in the case of the big ones, some bonus per spike.

Yeah, I skipped the first DLC thinking "meh" in every way. Then DLC 2 came out and it had a boss! Something a lot of people had to work towards and it allowed me to make my own instances (which, as I found out, is totally NOT the case)! So I got DLC 2 and played it for a week before I shelved the game, to this day.

What a horrific let down. Kicked from your own Major Arkbreaks, disconnects galore, tons of people that don't do what is *needed*, and yet ANOTHER "mode" where score/time is the prevailing victory condition. I hate that. Sadly, those are just some of the problems.

I mean it's nice that they explain the Castithan society more but it wasn't even close to enough, let alone the story being unfinished.

If arenas had cop, i'd probably say it's good but to my knowledge that's not in the game yet.

I don't expect dlc3 to be worse than dlc1, but I could be wrong. It's hard to tell at this point.
Also I don't mind that they are making a major event out of emergencies.
More variety is good.
Though major 99r and Raider arkfalls would be nice too.

Could be wrong since the DLC isn't in my hands, but isn't it a rather shallow and cheap thing to implement into the game and call an "event" what we have already been organizing and doing on our own accord?

If this was patched in, then it would be awesome! They listen to what we want and have been doing and give a "reward" for it.... but to add it as the main event in a DLC, weak.
