It would appear that the servers are not down for scheduled maintenance or a patch. An update on the website might be nice, with an explanation of how long they will be down would be even nicer.

They might not be down. Yesterday the PSN signed me off the PSN network but Defiance gave me the "servers not available" message. I restarted my modem, then noticed when I restarted PS3 that it said "there has been an error. you have been signed out of the playstation network" so I signed back in and then defiance was fine.Originally Posted by Treasurekins

Agreed, that has happened to me before as well. Unfortunately, I am getting tons of messages from Defiance friends asking the same question.

The US PS3 Defiance servers are currently inaccessible. Our engineers are working on getting them back up as soon as possible. I'll give you guys an update as soon as I get one, and will be back within an hour at the longest with a status update.
