Its not so much what we can customize that is the issue as it is the fact that the facial features and PC facial structure in general is so poorly done that customization consists of sifting through to find the most bearable. It's like the creators looked at it and were just like "Eh, good enough."

How about we focus on actual gameplay bugs and worry about the core fun factor before we start complaining about how our makeup looks?

I would but the makeup got in my eye first.

(Plus I already enjoy the game, the shame that is character customization is one of my few complaints. :/ )

For everyone, the character creation is the first part of the game they have access to. For some, been disappointed in that portion already drops their rating of the game by half a star.

I could care less if we were all clones if only we looked tolerable..
As is, a human female gets to choose between a bony methhead, a...*winces*..I actually don't even know what the second is, and an ape cherub.

wait until people start getting custom outfits.

that said, remember this is a shooter, the focus is mostly on gameplay, and they are restricted to nearly decade old technology, have significant customization would only hamper gameplay. its a trade, erformance vs prettyiness, and performance always trump in games

I understand that, but I think for an MMOTPS, the customization is just fine. I bet the OP didn't actually know about the other customization options at the top of the screen and just played it off like they did when alerted to it. You can change skin color, hair color, hair style, facial structure including nose, jaw, chin, etc (including preset faces that look different from each other as you customize them), eye color, and you can change your clothes as you level up.

And it's day 1 of official launch. What more do you all want?

Not to mention most people are busy driving cars and shooting stuff to stop and pay attention to the fact that you just got your weave did.

    More looks customization.

But I agree that bug fixes need to come first of course. I think all of us would agree on that. We would just like for the developers to note that having better customizing options would make the game more polish. It doesn't have to be now, it can even wait until the first DLC as long we can get the chance to buy some plastic surgery time.

Or give me this http://fallout.wikia.com/wiki/File:Veteran_Ranger_2.jpg . I will wear it forever and stop complaining.
