team chat still seems to work only via /team for arkbreak instances. IIRC they said they would made it more user-friendly there.

probably for those who prefer to trash the not-so-good rarities on sight. if you're leveling up - it's a good thing to trash whites, greens and probably blues while leaving purples for selling/examination for further use.
but the confirmation dialog is a bit misleading at least.

Be sure to go to chat settings, set the delay as you like it, and slide the tabs slider all the way to the right in order to see how that works...

I can confirm that chat is a doddle, works like a dream in comparison to the previous. It might not be Perfect but its a step in the right direction.

There's a big difference between working and usable. It was working before. What did you expect nothing to show up so you could go, "I guess it's not working"?

Chat has always worked. It worked a little bit better after DLC2. Now it's worse than pre-DLC1 chat. Since I wasn't around the first few months of the game maybe it's better than that, but it's certainly worse than any of the chat interfaces than have existed since I started playing.

Easiest example: I am taking a break from shooting things in the face and want to have some fun joking around with everyone in Zone. Before you had your nice solid background large window and large typing space and could just chat away. Now you have a transparent background that goes away after every entry so you constantly have to bring the window back up.
