Eh, infamy has never been our thing. Those that weren't around to see it's conception will always doubt it. It also doesn't help that the forums were split at the time. I figured it was a matter of time until it happened. C'est la vie...

I do find it funny that having done a few marches themselves Trion didn't see the server stress of all those players in close vicinity. First thing we laughed about when these Incursions were shown. They have no idea how FUBAR some of those marches used to get.

Other clans can claim what they want on any platform, we have the video and Trion stating that we started the Death Marches. So have at it.

Trion stated no such thing. They showcased a video in a community spotlight. That does not equate to "Hey, these guys did it first" Death marches were being done by other clans across all platforms since the start of this game. It's not a new concept. But keep tooting your own horn if it makes you feel better to take credit for something that other people have been doing since day 1.

With arsenic on this one. Some of the first featured clans like free masons and Obsidian were featured for community gatherings and death marches. The only reason I noticed Obsidian is because they were featured on the show tie in live streams.

3WT's 1st Death March was in June... #justsayin Long before then I used to do Tranquility Road to Overpass or Every Conflict Site treks all the time. I'd imagine others had the same ideas...

Either way, no one coined the term. If these were instead called Road Rally's...again just sayin'. That's not to take away from ANY clan's events. They're fun. Until the WHOLE shard is in them (looking at you Incursions...) then not so much...

It's a community event that spanned across platforms. Let's enjoy 'em and move on.
