3rd "DLC" lack of content

the least they could have did was add one new crappy pvp and 1 new co-op map to make it look like they are at least trying to make new content, and at least it could have been called a dlc with some justice.
dlc's is basically just a paid for patch/update

Let's take a look shall we:

DLC 3 didn't actually add ANY "major features...new races, story missions, [...] vehicles, arenas, [or] more."

Then we're left with the part they supposedly fulfilled "...content to your game world,...special weapons..."

I'd argue the first of these "content to your game world" is an outright lie - a patch added Incursions (this is not semantics as the patch requires no purchase and the DLC Packs they are describing require a purchase) and everything else worthwhile added was done via the patch and not the DLC (Faction Vendor Oranges, Purple Faction Mods, etc.)

So, with 7/8 items (6/8 if you count outfits as "more") listed being completely absent from this DLC, anyone who chooses to view this DLC as a rip-off or betrayal by Trion are, in my opinion, completely justified to do so.

they would have a larger player base and make more money if they actually cared about how the community felt , but alot of people left the game because trion made changes and ignored the community there has always been a lack of communication and sometimes a general misdirection ie we tell them there is a problem and they say no there isnt then change it to ok there is and we will fix it and then no fix...if anyone is to blame for a lack of funds to run their company its them for not caring and not communicating

The problem is people want an "expansion" for $10...here is the sad facts people, $10 isn't worth much these days. All companies exists to make money and you cant pay a group of programmers $60k+ a year and make an "expansion" for $10. Specially with a meager player base, personally I think the changes and additions in DLC 3 are worth just that...10 bucks...you get what you pay for, and I don't expect the world for 10 bucks. All 5 DLC together might be an expansion if they were released at one time, but these are not really cheap expansions people..they are glorified patches and just that.

Why shouldn't I expect an expansion for $10? I got 4 for $20 in LOTRO; and that was over 400 new quests.
Here's a sad fact, your values aren't mine. If you need $10 and don't have it $10 is a lot of money.
In this case no you don't get what you are paying for. I'm paying for content, I'm getting diddly squat.

Federal minimum wage is the US is anywhere from $7.50 and hour to $9.30 an hour, that equates to a maximum of 1.5 hours of anyones time that lives and works in the US. Frankly thats not very damn much..a book...a sandwich...a pack of smokes. If you cant afford it, then you probably can't even afford internet and have no business on an online forum anyway, best to save your $10 for food so you dont starve to death this winter.

When you have to live on a budget you value things. For me $10 is a good movie on DVD, it's a day of fishing, it's a night out, it's not a game DLC; as apposed to an actual expansion.

why arent you playing LOTRO then and how long ago was that? the expansion packs are $20 and you dont even get full access to the quests unless you pay a monthly fee to become a "VIP".So...ya
