It does say on the game case & in the game details (if ordered online) it will require 10GB space, & tbh i would expect that to increase with updates, patches & dlc etc. I have been waiting for my pre order allday & it still hasn't arrived, i will wait because i want this game to do well, im going for a smoke hope mine comes tomorrow.......Bye then lol.Originally Posted by GamerGodzilla

I agree with everyone! It's day one and this is an MMO, not only that but one of the first on the 360. It's going to have some issues, need some maintenance, and have some patches. But that's no reason to give up on it. They will have it worked out and seeing as there has already been some down time to fix things, we know Trion is not asleep at the wheel.

I understand this is in a matter of speaking an "MMO". However, the game was presented as "1st a shooter and 2nd, an MMO".
I have only participated in a couple of MMO's and I did not particularly like them. What I thought I would like about this game was the fact that it was advertised as a shooter/mmo and so far, I do not see anything really good here.
People with consoles typically buy their games and are able to successfully play on day 1, not wait, wait, and wait some more. I have not opened my game yet, for if I do and Trion cannot get the bugs fixed, then I am stuck with a game that is not worth the disc its printed on. I think that all console owners should return this game before opening. This is only my opinion as I have been burned by games which have collapsed as a result of being too buggy and the fan base dwindled to the point that their was no need to continue playing and there was no chance of redemption. I'm just not sure that game creators or consoles are prepared for this type of game and that is a shame because this appears to be a beautiful game and the Beta ran smooth for me. Please give me a "Good Reason to Stay". I really like the concept but, most concepts fail on the first couple of attempts.
If anyone ever wonder why consoles don't get more games like Defiance, this is why. The whiners can't handle launch window problems. FFS!
its a mmo, it's patching, and mmo are ALWAYs LARGE, wow was up to something like 80 gigs before a optimasation they did (i have played wow is ages) but, hey congrats on making a uninformed decision because YOU didn't know what was required.
retailers STATE it takes 10 gigs
MMO always have scheduled down time, in fact almost all exclusive server operated games have downtime.
