I hope I managed to answer your question.
Use them to add Mod slots to your various weapons. They get expensive. Also, you can spend them to buy keys to buy lockboxes.

At times, I hate to practice, but I love to play. I know I need to study and I know I need to practice and I know how important it is. That doesn't mean I have to like it. The question I have to ask myself is am I willing to do that? And the answer is yes.

looks like there is a carry limit of 70 something green keys - not sure if there is a reason for that number?
75 I believe is max keys you can have. Tier 4 lockboxes are 64, so I'd think pretty much any time you get over that, just swing by a lockbox vendor to ensure you don't cap out. Not sure what the reason is for the cap, seems kinda silly.
So people wont save up on 4385683465 key codes until they are ego 5000 then buy boxes with it.

Agreed, very silly to have a cap.
And just to remind everyone, lockbox tier 4 DOES yield better grade items than 1,2 or 3. Just got an orange bmg from one, with extra fanciness on as well.
