Also, yes, i assume they are down because i cant log into the game but I can log into giantbomb.

there was an in game message (these show up in the chat window that is in your lower right hand corner of the screen (only one line of text shows up unless you expand to full screen chat then you can review chat history) **The in-game message said 30min of down time, based on timing, could be back up by 4pm pst assuming no issues or delays.**

Dammit all I want to do is play!!!!! Anyone know when the server will be back up? I get the "Critical: The Defiance service is not available. Please try again later" =C

They posted that they were going down on Twitter too.

Oh and They are back up now
