STOP BUYING THE SPIKES. I have yet to purchase a single one and just use the daily ones. Problem solved. If not enough people are there to put down spikes then that means not enough people are there to kill him, so obviously dont go in.

Quit the game to PS home and then relaunch Defiance and it should let you into the Major Arkfall, it works for me (if you not at the site as soon as the entry countdown starts you won't get back on time to enter)
I was going to create a post to vent my frustration about the Warmaster content but this thread is close enough so I will toss it in here.
I just logged off after yet another Warmaster event gone bad.
Here's what happened:
I show up, plant the 4th spike and proceed to deal with the mobs outside of the crash. So far so good.
Next I enter the ark. I darn well expect to enter a fresh instance of the event. Of course this is not to be. The event I enter is more than half way over with 3 minutes on the clock.
I drop down, I have no idea what the group's battle plan was because I wasn't there for when they started. So I assume they are shooting at the back because lately that seems like the popular choice.
So I am plinking away at the back with my assault rifle when suddenly at around the 1 minute mark I am forced back outside. I am no longer in the instance, nor can I get back in as there is no longer an ark outside, just an empty field.
So basically I wasted my spike, I didn't get into a fresh instance, the instance that it sent me into kicked me out before it's completion, and the game essentially robbed me of my spike, and my time.
If I sound annoyed it's because I am. Not because I don't expect bugs, but because this scenareo I've just described happens to me far too much and it's been slowly eating away at me until finally I've decided to post and vent about it.
The whole event has too many things about it that just seem to irk me. Ranging from the above technical issues to simple poor execution with how easily the event can be griefed by anyone that feels like popping the locks while folks are still busy zoning in and preparing.
I don't even want to get started on about incursions. They "could" be fun, but they break down when many people join one. They lose all sense of fun play at that point.
Trion, please, you need to create content that doesn't break down if many people join in, and I don't mean technical problems, that's a given. I mean design the events so that the FUN remains intact no matter how many or how few players try to participate.
When you have each mob spawn site at an event camped by detonator grenades on the ground just waiting for the tell-tail sign that mobs are spawning and they all light up like a roman candle... that's simply stupid and not fun.
So, in short, besides fixing any technical problems, please do something about event "execution", stuff needs to be fun, and REMAIN fun if more than a handful of players join in. You also need to just freaking assume that people will grief if something is griefable and design content that isn't so easy to grief.
Yes I understand that nothing can ever be 100% idiot proof, but the Warmaster locks should have been so obvious to any designer complete with flashing red lights and sirens. I don't want to tell you how to fix it other than to tell you that you should. There are a plethora of different ways you can address all of these problems, pick one, do it right, and learn from it.
Rant over.
You're quick to judge, Reb. What do you think the Warmaster do when he teleports back to its arkship? Puts on his night robe, sits in his comfy armchair with a cup of tea and some crackers, puts on his round-shaped spectacles and flips through the pages of a good novel. He's well-read and a real gentleman... until we arkhunters call him a "monkey" because that makes him really mad... his fellow Volge prefer to refer to him as "the librarian". Ook.

Sounds exactly like my last encounter with the big, blue monkey. Meh... it had been a while since I last dropped an ark spike, I guess. Regardless, that still doesn't 100% excuse the erratic timer on this WM battle.
In the name of all that is holy... try to do something about this, development team!
Still. I don't think he is the proper individual to present your script to, unless you're trying to get produced by VPaDG {Volge Playright and Directors Guild}.
I was only assuming that the OP would want more of n earthly human type to deal with his/her script, as they are human themselves{big assumption here}.
Of course, my apologies to the monk....er, Librarian. I guess because my only intent is to see him perish, that his/her/its feelings[if it has them} never occured to me. Nah, hey still don't! Death to all Librarians!
To the OP. Send your script to Hollywood or New York, you may yield more desirable results!
To everyone on this Thread - at least the ones on PS3 - just send out a Zone Chat saying you need Batteries.
Never place them yourself - if I see it in Zone I'll be right there and use two and leave. (Don't expect me to stay though, as I have no interest in the Warmaster)
I keep getting batteries and they go to waste daily. I'll be glad to offset your battery cost. I'll bet there are more like me too.
