I watched them at Comic-Con (not in person) and they do seem to be very meshed, and well put together, what with crossing the 2 medias together. It seems each side wants the other to do equally as well, if not better!

Yes but given how some developers/networks can have a greedy complexion, i was a little worried at how well the would work together.

But since watching the interview, those doubts are quelled!
