Why do some guns that drop glow red on the ground? Is there a specific reason for it?
Like to know the answer to this one also...
It's usually weps that can help you alot during mission. It can only be equipped, can't be taken. Once the ammo 0 or the perc goes zero it will be destroyed.
For example, a mission where's horde of raiders coming around. There's lying red grenade launcher that you can pick. Either you use it, or just use your own weapon is fine.

most likely some new weapon category that hasnt dropped before, also keys glow red.
And i dont think he means those special heavy items.. normal loot with red glow
i happened to get mass cannon s - white, nothing special... glowed red
Ah your getting confused with one use weapons mate there are weapons that drop from tough enemies that have a wispy red aura around them.

I can confirm its not a unique one time use weapon or a chemical effect had this in beta and was not either of those ...however "Dustofdeath" might be onto something?
