    Settings = Crash to Desktop?

    Ok I played in the beta this last weekend. First thing I noticed is when I tried to access my game settings by either of these methods ( settings at character select, Settings via Ego Circle, settings via F6 key) my game would always instantly crash to desktop.

    I submitted a ticket in beta concerning this issue, which was addressed as a login issue by support?

    That made absolutely no sense. So I replied back to the ticket and explained in a little more detail giving my exact pc specs, along with a concern, would this issue be fixed before launch?

    After investing into the $100.00 digital deluxe edition of the game, Yes I can play the game, But no I can not change any settings in the game. I still get the instant Crash to desktop if i even try.

    Sigh .... GM's /Dev's Please see if this can seriously be looked into please !!!!

    If you have a 120mhz monitor, this has apparently been a known issue since the Alpha and was never fixed.

    Plenty of us are in the same boat, hopefully they fix it relatively soon.

    So Basically, you are telling me it is the problem of my monitor's being too good for the game? Luls, So I am supposed to go ut and find junkie monitors just to be able to adjust my settings. ...

    Well, in not so many words, yes.

    Yet another annoying set back for us PC gamers as a byproduct of the game being developed simultaneously for consoles. Right now the only two workarounds suggested involve using an HDMI cable and editing the registry, neither of which I would suggest doing just to get one program working.

    Its called console port ;-) Next Gen consoles supposedly will fix that, bc more development will be done on/ for PC .... so I hear. Hopefully this is fixed soon.
    I think this works: connect hdmi cable (forces 60hz), change the in-game settings, and then swap back to dvi (and 120hz) -> changing settings to 60hz does NOT work
    hope the settings get saved and don't need to be adjusted every time the game starts???

    I have the same issue and just ignored the settings menu so far ... hoping it to be fixed in the next days. but i will look for a hdmi cable at work today ;-)
    dont hit esc in game or you crash. you can hit esc during cut scenes and in menu ... but dont make a mistake or its crash-to-desktop.

    Couldn't you just go into your control panel and change the HZ to 60/59 when you have 120hz monitor?

    Just throwing this out there, but could it be a framerate issue? I know that in NVidia control panel you can force vsync at "Adaptive (Half Refresh Rate)" maybe that could help? If that doesn't do anything then like you guys say use HDMI cable till it gets fixed.
