It might increase chances that somebody is willing at least to try duelling. Easier Echelon points. People don't like PvP aspect of the game. At least it seems to me. Almost same faces in PvP maps all the time. A propos - I do have one more suggestion in my mind but people would probably crucify me for such a blasphemy as suggesting damage cap on PvP arenas. At moment PvP is not a fight of skills but competition about who has bigger and better....weapon. I seriously think that we deal here with one reason, why people avoid PvP. Somebody with shiny onehitter will erase them from map several times and that discourages people to play further. Been through that phase and i myself do feel sort of bad when I erase somebody only because i happen to have better equipment. I think that everybody should have equal chances from the beginning. PvP should be battle of players and skills, not between equipment.

It used to be that way a long time ago. A white 1,000 ego AR was on par with a 5,000 ego OJ. When the arktech dlc came in they added threat level and made the game based on ego instead of skill.

Echelon rep is annoying its so easy to get and theres no weapons i like in echelon vendor i have nothing to spend it on. ( i dont like any guns in echelon vendor except the frotier semi auto sniper rifle with bio nano (its good on pvp, so i can get more echelon rep ))

Look i like the pvp game type but it lacks balance, i mean there's only 5 or so maps and then you get thrown into a game thats either losing or its just about to end then you have those lag weapons such as bmg and crime fighters that should be banned from pvp and then you got the bunny boomers (people who jump around all over the map shooting RL and Dets.) i mean think about it takes no skill to run around jumpping and shootng weapons that have AOE or Balst area damage this is not skill, its a lack of skill because you cant use something unless it explodes and/or locks on! where is the skill in that i ask you. why not add a cool down time too jumpping in pvp game modes moremaps would be cool too but it for sure needs to be balancedand maybe more keycodes and some ark forge from pvp would be nice

Big Boomers can be dealt with if you know the proper tactics to do so. It actually does take a measure of skill to stick two to three grenades on a moving player or within a few meters of them when they detonate when they have a lobbed projectile path and move slower than any other projectile in the game. That's what a player would have to do to consistently get kills with a Big Boomer against players that are aware that they can nerf the blast radius significantly with the Blast Shield perk and understand how the mechanics of declining damage based on distance from the epicenter work for explosive AoE weapon damage.

Yes, many players that lack aiming skill and/or reaction time will try to use Big Boomers as crutches but it generally doesn't help them much against any but new uninformed players or players who also are lacking in aiming skill and/or reaction time. Granted it's an unpleasant experience for the uninitiated but it's just part of the growing pains in learning the ins and outs of PvP in this game.

It always puzzles me why players think it's difficult to hit a player that spams the jump key. Players that do this actually have a more predictable pattern of movement than players that stick to sound evasion tactics of erratic horizontal movement with occasional jumping and are therefore more easy to hit. On top of that it makes it much harder for them to hit their target including sticking a grenade on moving a player.

As mentioned in previous comments I feel clan wars would be a massive improvement to PvP, a clan ranking board with boosts as rewards to the top 3 ranked clans each month would generate a huge interest in pvp as it would encourage a number players who don't normally play PvP to get involved.

heres a good suggestion, if you're one of those people that like to get angry and send people private messages expressing discontent because of the events that occurred in a pvp match, put the game down and go do something that makes you happy.........just a suggestion
