    I would love to see some melee weapons. I am a HUGE fan of Red Faction. I would love to be able to pick up a hammer or pick axe from a 99er and be able to use it. There was really nothing more gratifying than smashing someone with a hammer in RFG multiplayer. I would also like it if the map would mark locations (after you have discovered them of course) Sometimes I cant remember where the hell a location is. DEFIANCE IS A GREAT GAME!

    Personally I feel that Grenades should not have so low detonation time, some of the grenades have like 0.3, people just abuse that to get easy kills. Grenades should have a fuse between a 1.5 and 5.0 sec. Perhaps make a type of grenades with a lower cooldown, give them a low fuse and low damage (no one shot). Introduce grenade cooking to reward skill.

    I can't speak for consoles, but what dominates PC is shotgun+cloak, especially quick matches, and shadow wars often take too long to join, leaving few options.

    Don't worry, this isn't about whining: I run counter builds, and enjoy blowing this diseased build's face off, but as it stands, there is no creativity or much actual gameplay. It leaves little to the imagination.

    I mean, the root of the problem is this: we have the illusions of all these options and weapons, but the only true options are shotgun+cloak or shotgun+cloak counter builds.

    Translation: It's boring. It doesn't make for very dynamic or engaging PvP.

    Sure, a few people here and there use other guns, but for example: 10 quick matches last night. Think I died to infectors twice, grenade launchers once, and the rest was ALL shot+cloak (usually 4-8 of them on a team). Even with a counter build, I can't keep up with all the rats. Was the same as the night before, and the night before that.

    Also, someone suggested a leaderboard, which seems pointless, because at the moment all it will tell me is who can be cloaked the longest, which does not make for the most dynamic or engaging PvP conflicts.

    Bring on the flames! Or preferably, intelligent discourse and discussion!

    Can Defiance really handle over twenty people using grenade launchers? I was in a Shadow War today, and more people were using grenade launchers than not, and I must say it was horrible, there was constant lag, invisible enemies, and it took me 1:30 to 2:30 just to spawn back in. It may be a coincidence, but it was terribad.

    enjoying the pvp , in shadow wars its annoying when you have radom enemy npc's generating on spawn points and mistaking them as the enemy team , i also confuse non players running around as the enemy team.
    if during a pvp the radar could have npc's as black instead of red it would be a lot less confusing .

    Do something so everyone and their mother doesn't run around with shotgun cloak! I get it, it's powerful but holy crap is it ruining the PvP. Wanna get kills? Go shotgun cloak. Wanna not die much? go shotgun cloak. Any time you use anything else you just do average aside from the rare occasion where the whole map isn't full of people using shotgun cloak. Make them more visible when they are close with cloak or nerf shotguns to the ground like you did infectors.

    Sort out the ****ing Record Kills on the Pursuit list! I just went from 12 kills down too 3!? How can that glitch but the contacts count every single kill!?!

    The pursuits related to specific maps (observatory mainly) need to be checked. I've checked after every game and they will go up then drop down. I know I have scored more than 25 kills on observatory. I've spent 90% of the time playing on observatory and in the Survival of the Fittest II I have recorded 118/150 kills, but in observatory I have 1/25. Last game I had 4/25 kills with 4/15 assists. Now both are down to 1. Climbing the Ranks of Echelon III states I have 157/500 kills. Shadow War Profiteering II says I have 2/150 kills. This would mean out of the 157, 1 on observatory and 2 in SW, I have registered 154 kills on waterfront? I average maybe 3 kills a match, that's AVERAGE. I know I have not played 51 matches on waterfront.

    This would have been sent in under "report a bug", but on the xbox I don't feel like typing all this out on a controller.

    My suggestion: Fix the tracking of the competitive multiplayer pursuits.
