It doesn't work for several reasons.

Informed players know how to setup damage mitigation perks and select shields that can prevent dying from one hit from a bomb so BMG healing isn't helpful for that and only impairs their vision and, if the shield debuff from the Warmaster's dropshock attack isn't running, it will shut down the Kill or Be Killed 45% crit damage bonus for the player, usually at the time it does the kill group the most good which is when the Warmaster is hanging from the wall.

If the shield debuff is running then the BMG is completely useless for support because no player will survive a direct hit from a bomb without any shield protection. Similarly a BMG won't save a player from getting downed from two direct bomb hits even with full shields upon the first hit so it's completely useless in that regard. On top of that it can prevent a player from tracking the path of an incoming bomb so he or she can move out its trajectory so it can get them killed in the process.

The only reason why players use them inside Major Arkbreaks is because they are either ignorant or trolls who knowingly sabotage the raids to get a higher personal score.

    Deunan,
That makes perfect sense to me. Thank you for the explanation as well. I generally don't use a BMG inside the arkfall myself, but was wondering about this aspect.

I tried it, that was before 1.5, actually had a topic asking for suggestions, but I wasn't leading on it was for healing in the WM room, the topic was about being a healer (Combat healer). First noticeably thing was I couldn't heal worth crap at my low EGO. that was enough for me to change weapons, mid fight, healing isn't really needed, maybe for low EGO players like myself could use some due to the low capacity Shields and HP, but it's just much quicker to extract and come back into the fight with a fresh EGO to use.

I keep meaning to write down what I use in my Warmaster load out, to share here. I had a AR I really liked, but I pretty much out leveled it, it's be less useful now, so now use a LMG of some kind, and the Wolfhound, used to carry heal stims, but now I pretty much just run with Armor repair stims, protection Spikes, perks are Over charged, but that;s where I need to write down what they all are.

I still have that AR,(just looked through some screen shots) the AR is the EMC XAR-22 I'm just waiting till I'm 4k+, then I'll upgrade it to my level, I just have bad luck obtaining enough Ark forge to keep all my favorite items upgraded

I used a VOT Mazu Blast Rifle with Bio for breaking the armor then use an Assassin Wolfhound when the armor breaks (if I ever get as lucky as to be around to see the armor broken....) then Overcharge

    Perks:
    Blast Shield
    Thick Skinned
    Bloodlust
    Fortified Stance
    Killing Machine
    Cellular Armor
    Fortitude
    Overload
    Pumped up

And just to remember that the shield glitch was fixed, one more reason for us to spank the monkey

Griff, how I adore you more each day.
    Yup, Yup !
VOT Mazu Blast Rifle, Radiation Nano and Full Cannoneer Synergy for Main weapon, then over to the VBI EEC HP-7 Wildcat with full Quartarmaster Synergy when the Crystal is broken. The Radiation eats through the crystal pretty well on the Mazu and I have good rolls on It for fire rate. It takes me more time to reload it than it does to empty the clip downrange. The Wildcat has wicked crit rolls plus the EGO bonus and an additional reload roll so it helps with getting the "free" overcharge. EGO power is Overcharge for the Warmaster, I want to go heavy on the damage as much as possible. The Perks on that loadout are : Quick Charge, Killing Machine, Detachment, Gamma Rays, Blast Sheild, Fortitude, Cellular Armor, Thich Skinned and Radiation Burns. I carry Frags and Damage Spikes as well as Ablative Armor Repair Stims. Oh, And a nice Ironclad V. All of that stuff except the spikes and stims are Orange-flavored but it doesn't matter, whatever works.

No no no no. We need a nuclear Bunker Buster THEN a Warhead. Break the armor and shields then use the warhead to kill it.
