    One Shot Tac-Nuke RL anyone??

Seriously one shot, New Ammo Pool of 1, no Mag mods nothing. Has to be reloaded at ammo box.

Ok, bad idea, but would make Volge Seiges more bearable.

I don't have anything that shoots faster than that unless I use a VBI SMG or use a slower weapon like a Saw.

A SAW is a better DPS weapon. Rate of fire is not the sole factor in determining DPS. Even from a very primitive analysis of multiplying bullet damage by rate of fire it becomes evident that the VOT Mazu Blast Rifle has among the lowest DPS of fully automatic weapons but there are other factors as well such as the SAW's magazine size to allow for longer continuous fire. While it does have a slower reload time, activating Overload automatically reloads the gun so if you time your EGO activation correctly the reload time becomes less relevant.

There are also the Epic fully automatic weapns you can get from the Soleptor, Top Notch and VBI faction vendors that you can purchase after completing just 2 weeks worth of contracts. The Votan Pulser, Frontier SAW and EMC LMG are all superior not only to a VOT Mazu Blast Rifle in terms of DPS but the models of weapons they're based upon as well.

Since we are on this, i have a question regarding the loadouts. I know that the combo smg/wolfhound was one of the most used and preferred by the players, but i`m not by a long shot a good player with pistols and normally i use two distinct loadouts:

    SMG/LMG and SMG/SMG.

I have read in another thread that shooting at the critical spots on the WM with a smg was a waste, is it true ?

If so i`ll change my loadouts but i thought that for the unskilled with pistols like me the use of any other high DPS could be a solution.
I´ll apreciate any input on this even if to criticise me, i don`t like to be one of those in the chamber.

I doubt you're any less skilled than I am with a pistol. You don't need exceptional skill. You do need to pursue the chosen target doggedly using a run and gun style to keep on it and you do have to stay relatively close which you want to do anyway with a Wolfhound or even an SMG because of the short range before you start suffering falloff damage loss. In that context you don't need great aiming/shooting abilities with a pistol.

The reason why the Wolfhound is the preferred weapon for after the Warmaster's crystal armor breaks is because it has more critical DPS than just about any weapon out there because of it's high base crit modifier and the ability to fire it at a semi-automatic rate of fire. If you don't have a Wolfhound with any crit mods and you do have an SMG with several that is fitted with an Ionic Barrel you might be better off with that but you still have to stay close to the Warmaster because without a Sustained Power Muzzle your falloff range is going to be fairly short.

Minimally I would recommend that you use your LMG/SMG during the ground phases only but use the Wolfhound when the Warmaster is hanging off the wall as it's not difficult to hit his soft spot when he isn't moving.

You guys are going to bash on me but I use a fire zagger and a bio wolfhound. The reason for the zagger is to keep my overcharge up and well a 3x crit/oj dmg wolf is self explanatory.

Also with a zagger I don't have to go refill my ammo or drop a ammo spike.

    Agree with Deunan here.

Alternatively, you can use a semi-auto sniper that is easy to shoot from the hip with when the monkey is on the wall. Until I acquired my Wolf, this is what I used. I believe the Ranger, because of the double shot. Correct me if I'm wrong on the model. They have a decent crit on them and the double shot is a nice touch.

    *EDIT*

Also, this is nice because you're not using 2 weapons that draw off the same ammo pool.

Is it a zero reload time Zagger? If it is then it should be a good DPS weapon because the rate of fire isn't compromised by it being a sawed-off and, as you mentioned, the slower rate of fire in general can be compensated by it running with the 30% Overload damage bonus for most of the time (with the right perk loadout).

Yup i always go very near him and when is hanging on the ceiling i get just right beneath him and now it`s not a problem with the shields being fixed and all.
I was just wandering if i was doing something wrong but i think that my weapons are good enough, i have VOT and Votan pulsers with double crits but my best woulfhounds only have 5.2 X of critical and none of them have double crits.
